Just had my surgery today at Reston Surgical center and am recovering at my AirBnb. Everything went well! Pain was about a 4 or 5 initially but I took a Percoset and am doing better. I don't know what size implant he used but I'll find out later. Normally I'm about 7.25" so we'll see what he did. It was a suprapubic implant.

Feeling really good after some initial apprehension. It's easy to get around and I was worried about mobility. The packing does stick straight out so I'm sure I'll stay put until Friday when I get things unwrapped. Let me know if you have any questions!

Things have been going well so far. Last night I took and ambien and 800mg of ibuprofen and slept pretty solid! Still a constant dull soreness that is helped by icing. Less pain than yesterday. At the appointment Dr Taj said I was at about 50-60% inflated, which seemed pretty solid to me! He pulled on the pump and squeezed out some to get me to 30% but it was really painful to have him pulling. Just general ball pain. He said he gave me a 24cm titan.

Weird because I can definitely feel both cylinders and the tips with my hands. I’ll be curious on how it all feels during arousal. Can a partner feel the tips with a BJ? I’ll let you know.

I’ve been wearing the hospital mesh underwear, which is really stretchy and then having my wrapped dick poke though the fly of some PJ pants. Works really well! Using two bags of frozen peas on either side of the wrap with a towel to hold things in place.

Getting around walking is not a problem. Went to Wegmans today and just held a hoody over my arm to cover the front. Not really a problem.

Looks great. Do you know what your distal and proxal measurements were?

Thanks, I’ve been exercising and eating well my entire life. I’m sure it helps with recovery. It’s killing me, though that I’m not going to be able to work out. I’ll probably be able to ease back into it after about three weeks. I’m only on day two so the drain comes out on Friday, day after tomorrow.

Can’t wait to get the bandages off and go through a full cycle to see how things look. I’m sure it’s going to hurt, but I’m really interested to see how it looks flaccid and fully pumped. I will have to make a 4 Hour drive home to Pittsburgh after my appointment. But that shouldn’t be too much trouble. Still haven’t had a bowel movement, but I’m hoping laxative will work its magic tomorrow.

Ooh yeah, the constipation post-anesthesia is a doozy for a lot of guys. I’m two weeks out since my own op, I started taking Colace + MiraLAX together and it was a lifesaver. Two weeks later and I’m off both of them. The painkillers often slows motility down too. But you’ll be regular again, just take it easy and work in some more fiber and stool softeners.

Day 4

Time for an update! Went into the office today to get my drain pulled out and get a few cycling lessons. The drain removal did not hurt but it was weird seeing it snake out of me. My staples look great and are healing well. Dr. Taj decided to do a short video with me so I'll post it here if he ends up putting it on YouTube. He told me that I could remove my staples myself after two weeks (he gave me a kit) and that I should come back for a checkup at 3 weeks. It's kind of a pain since I live four hours away but I'll decide if I want to come back live. Maybe I can do a video consult.

Didn't have much trouble finding the bulb and deflating or inflating. I have a fairly loose scrotum so I have room to feel around for it. Was not hard to identify where to press. I have the One Touch but I could actually hear a faint noise when I was inflating (a soft quack), but it likely wouldn't be noticed if there was any noise at all in the room. I was pleased when it was deflated that it didn't look too weird. It certainly feels rubbery and crunchy and I know that over time this will get better. You can see my attached picture that I'm definitely a shower now! If someone felt it in this state they'd know something was odd. When fully erect it does have that sort of flat look, but I'm also not aroused. I had a larger glans before surgery and I'll see what it looks like when I get excited - if it still appears as big. I did have some slight hourglassing from Peyronie's before but that seems to have smoothed out. Dr. Taj wants me to cycle to erect for 2 hrs a day for the next six months!! He said I should see some increase in girth. I've always had a thinner penis so I'm hoping I can gain some back. I'm about 5 inches around right now at the base. About 4.75 higher up. I'd estimate length pressed to bone as about 6.75. But, I can't push too hard with the ruler right now because of the incision and my glans is not engorged. I'm confident I can get back to 7" over time. Maybe close to 5" girth.

The bulb in my scrotum seems pretty obvious to me. I think that anyone grabbing my balls would think "hey what's that hard knob?" I do have casual hookups with men since I'm in an open relationship with my husband. I'll decide if I'm just going to tell people if they ask, or say something like "it's an old injury." People don't usually question you too much when they are sucking your dick though. lol.

The pain has been fairly continuous but manageable. Taking 600mg ibuprofen every 6 hrs. Still there is this constant dull ache/soreness that is hard to forget. Icing does help. I'm pumped to the max right now to the point where it's a bit uncomfortable. I'll have to keep this for two hours so I'll have to find the balance of what pain I can tolerate. It helps to distract yourself with work or something else. I work at home to it's easy for me to walk around with a hardon during the day. I cut a hole in some old joggers and stick my dick through with a sock on it. That will be my cycling uniform for the next six months.

Had a few good bowel movements so I'm over that hump. I'm so horny I'm sure I'll jerk off. I tend to use a light touch so I don't see myself putting much pressure on it. We have a 32 yr old hot young friend we fool around with and I can't wait to try it out on him.
