Well, if you've been playing at home...and, really, who hasn't
....tomorrow will be 7 weeks since my surgery. I am seeing my surgeon on Wednesday morning (yes, Christmas Eve) to finally activate my implant and get me cycling and going. It's been a long road and so many of you here have given me so much encouragement, I cannot thank you enough.I've been deflated since surgery, btw. I seem to be all healed, and have "gained" (discovered?) about an inch back flaccid after the swelling finally subsided.
I AM a bit apprehensive about Wed. I've been trying to pump a little on my own in the shower; if not for anything else, just to soften up the pump. No more than five pumps...but...nada, nothing.
So, is there something that my doctor has to do to truly activate the thing?
I'm also a little apprehensive about the following:
The activation.
Cycling.
Sex...when can I start having sex again.
And, of course...size. What size is it actually going to be? My doctor said it would be about the same size as what I saw in the VED tube prior to surgery, which was about 6 1/2". But the cylinder size he put in with RTE's would equate to anywhere from 5.5 to a little under 6". So I am very apprehensive about THAT.
Any insight any of you could give me is greatly appreciated!
