Removed Mummy Wrap 2 Days Post Op

Postby Irish Lad 34 » Fri Nov 14, 2025 7:43 am

Guys I am 2 days out from a penoscrtoal Titan Implant and I just removed the mummy wrap. I've been advised not to panic as things might look iffy at this stage.

To be honest my penis looks like my middle finger at this stage. It looks and feels a good deal smaller than my normal erection and also skinnier too!!!!! It's also a bit numb so the whole experience is just so weird.

There's perhaps a bit of swelling above the penis but it doesn't seem too bad. However the ball sack is now pushed forward by like an inch or 2 and I can't tell if this is because of swelling or if this is just the new way my ball sack will sit because of tubing etc. To put it onto perspective I used to be able to easily tuck my ball sack between my legs like buffalo bill and on a warm day the balls would sometimes hang low. I could grab my penis by the base and push so hard against the ball sack that my sack would disappear and the base of my penis would pop right out giving me full length! Now it's like the base of my penis has been left behind by my ball sack which has moved forward and swallowed up an inch or 2 of usable length! Is this normal? Is there anything pointing towards a disappointing result at this stage? If I press against the base on each side of the penis too I can feel bulbs like tubing just behind the base at 3 o clock and 9 o clock.

Hey Lad...

Things are sounding normal for you at this stage. My member looked pretty sad at first too, the head was all cold and withered looking, and I was swollen.

My sack is also pushed well forward still, and I'm over 3 weeks out from surgery. I know it's significantly swollen, and I believe as that dies down that it will relax and fall back into place.

Give it time, you're still in the surgical trauma phase, your body hasn't even really begun to start healing yet. I don't know what schedule your surgeon has planned, but once you start cycling, things will start to stretch out and look more normal. To what degree are you inflated? Some docs (like mine) do low inflation and start cycling more quickly, others leave you more inflated for longer and start cycling in 3-6 weeks. I'm sure there's other protocols as well.

My strongest advice is once the dressings are off and you are showering, guard that incision as if your dick depends on it. It does! If you get an infection it will likely start there. One I started showering, when I step out I pat everything dry and apply Neosporin antibacterial gel, and then Silver Sulfadiazine (SSD) on the incision. I then reapply that a few times throughout the day. I keep the incision covered, always wearing a jock or underwear so the incision isn't exposed to the environment. My surgeon remarked a couple of days ago how good the incision looks, and the sutures will come out in two weeks.

You're doing great even if it doesn't feel like it, just take it a day at a time and keep pushing through.

Two days out of surgery I didn't even want to look at my penis. Give it time, healing is slower than we want it to be.

Yes, all sounds very normal based on my own experience. 2 days post op is way too early to draw any conclusions.
I'd say you are going through the "WTF have they done to me?" stage.
Things will look and feel better with time, and cycling when you start that.
Right now everything is traumatised and your ball sac is swollen, causing your penis to look shorter.
How long before everything settles down and the swelling subsides varies between all of us.
Normal usable dick length should return eventually but it takes time and patience.
In my experience nothing you've reported is pointing to anything of concern so early on.
I was also disappointed and concerned initially but it did slowly get better over about 8 to 10 weeks.
I agree with Elbowroom about focusing on infection prevention. That is the principal risk at this very early stage.
Of course for peace of mind it's always best to discuss any worries with your surgeon. When is your first follow up?

Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.

This is the part where I was imagining all the worst scenarios.
On day 2 I was pretty convinced things had gone all wrong in the O.R. but nobody told me and they just put me back together as best they could.

On day 3 I thought the holes in my glans where they inserted the cylinders were actually the cylinders working their way out. I was imagining waking up with just the exposed cylinders coming out through my head.

In tge early days, Its very easy to get in your head and imagine why YOU wont have all the greatness that comes with an IPP. Of course we think like that. By the time I got to IPP I had tried dozens of things hoping they were the permanent fix for my ED and every one of them was not. Why would this be any different, right?

This is different. It IS the permanent fix for your ED (at least for ~98% of us). You just have to give it time and dont let yourself spiral too much. Use your resources (like you are). Ask questions here. Text your surgeon. If you meditate, do that. Try to.just relax and let time do its thing. Youre still at the starting line. In 4 or 5 weeks you'll be better able to see what your results will be like.
