Seven Month Status Report

Postby Tuscan_Order » Thu Nov 13, 2025 10:21 pm

I just had my six-month checkup with Dr. Eid. It was actually at seven months due to various conflicts pushing out the appointment. I had a list of questions to ask, and I was really concerned that it would sound like I just had a list of complaints. So, after waiting awhile in the exam room sitting on the table with my pants at my ankles, the Dr. came in and asked how things were going. “Things are going great,” was my reply, and I made sure to tell him how, for me, this implant is the greatest thing in the world. He was very patient in answering all of my questions, and said that nothing that I asked about was concerning and that everything is perfectly normal.

During my question session, he began to pump up the implant, and when fully inflated he commented “Whoever did this did a really good job!” Ha, ha. Love his humor there. After examining everything from the position of the tips to the location of the pump, his verdict was that everything was perfect.

One other thing I asked him about was how much scarring he found during the surgery. I had some significant fibrosis and scarring from injections, and worried that it would cause difficulties during the surgery. As Dr. Eid discussed this with me, I came to a very important realization:

I probably would have had a far worse outcome if I had not gone to a high-volume surgeon like Dr. Eid.

Before getting the implant, there was significant fibrosis for maybe an inch and a half at the end of my penis. This was really obvious with the Tri-Mix injections, as that last inch and a half never fully engorged and just looked droopy and shriveled, with pretty bad floppy glans. I guess this caused issues with getting a good measurement in the operating room, and that’s why Dr. Eid initially installed a 20cm cylinder. Apparently, when he inflated it, he found that the tips weren’t extending into the glans and there was a lot of room left. He removed that one and replaced it with a 22cm. Inflating that one showed that it still didn’t seat properly. So, it was pulled out and a 24cm put in to replace it. That one got the tips fully into good position in the glans when inflated, so that’s what he left me with.

Would a low-volume surgeon have removed the 20cm cylinders that matched the first measurements, or just left it in for me to deal with having 4cm less length and floppy glans? I really have my doubts they would. Since Dr. Eid does so many surgeries, he was able to work with Coloplast to just eat the cost of the two trashed implants. I think he said it was about $15k each. I feel so fortunate to have made the decision to travel across the country to have Dr. Eid perform this surgery. When I realized what he went through in the O.R. to get everything perfect, my admiration for him became extraordinary.

I’ll try to post some photos in the Members Only section that show the Tri-Mix vs. Titan erections, showing a pretty obvious improvement with the implant.
