Ring around penis head? NOT A COCK RING

Postby RVguy22 » Mon Oct 06, 2025 9:32 pm

Hello guys. THIS IS NOT ABOUT A COCK RING!
I have a Titan implant going on nine weeks after a long days of having the penis tucked mostly upright because it’s still healing and sticks straight out, and I have to dress up for work
Once I get home, the penis looks pretty deformed, swollen around the head of the penis maybe sometimes underneath.
After a few hours of walking around the house it goes away. Does anyone else have this symptom?
This has not been an easy recovery. I’m 62 and type two diabetic still have pain in the testicles on and off and still have some lingering pain on the left side of the penis.
Recently, the testicles have gotten swollen again after trying to manipulate the pump.
I realize most people here are out and having sex after three weeks, but not me, hopefully in the end things will settle and this thing will work out so that I could become that confident guy again

The fact that the swelling goes away after a hit is a good sign. It doesn’t sound like anything is “wrong”. You are just having a slower recovery than some others have had. That’s OK. You’ll get there.

Diabetes is a complicating factor and really slows recovery from surgery. Continue to be patient. I know 9 weeks feels like a long time, but your body is still healing.

Hang in there. It will continue to get better.

RVguy22, FWIW, I'm one of those guys who couldn't cycle until almost 8 weeks due to excessive swelling and edema. And yes, things settled down and worked great by around 4 months post-op. I'm also T2D with A1C around 6.5 . I was told that at 7 or less its not as much of a factor.

Thank you. The thing on top of the other things is that it aches from being in this semi rigid state all the time so that’s the other deal. I live on Tylenol and ibuprofen. Lol
