Would anyone be able to estimate my final size if my distal length measured in surgery was 13.5 cm?
I was given 22 cm cylinders with 0.5-1 cm RTEs. I’m almost 7 weeks post op and am about 14 cm erect which is around 1.5 cm shorter than my pre-op length.
Is that achievable through cycling with a non-length expanding implant?
I’m still in quite a bit of pain when cycling so I’m hoping that means everything is stretching.

J, you're early in your journey and it takes time. My internal measurements were 11cm distal and 10cm proximal. I got a 18cm AMS LGX with 3cm rear tip extenders. Supposedly expands 3cm when fully inflated.
When I did my first cycling training I was barely at 5 inches, after about 6 months I was back to my original size at 6.25 inches and 5 inches girth.
Just give it some time and cycle, cycle, cycle!
But do follow your doctors protocols for cycling
My protocol was 20 minutes twice a day and pump up in the shower and shaving.
I also added 3 to 4 times a week in a big tub with warm water and pump up to the max and see how long I could go without discomfort. It took a long time for me to get past an hour.
Hang in there, we all heal different

Thanks mate. Does that mean your distal length is really 14 cm given your implant expands by 3 cm when fully inflated?

Re: Distal length
Like SWorks said, keep cycling, cycling, cycling per your medical team's advice. Yes it can be painful but will get easier over time. I still have discomfort at nearly 6 months but only when fully erect for an hour or more and pumping the bejeezuz out of it. Shorter cycle times and fairly long sex sessions are now very comfortable. It looks like you have made some good gains already? Your signature says that you were originally 6 inches but only 4.5 inches at 4 weeks, and now 140 mm at 7 weeks (roughly 5.6 inches). That suggests you've already reclaimed an inch or so. I reckon statistically you are on track towards your pre op length. I doubt that anyone can accurately predict your final size based on distal length. Similar to SWorks I was just over 6 inches length pre op with a distal length of 11 cm, proximal 10 cm as measured on the operating table, ~5 inches girth and now back to 6 inches/5 inches. Everyone's internal and external measurements can be different even if the implant is the same size. There's a high possibility you'll get back your original size. I didn't start seeing a gradual return to previous length until 8 weeks or so. I don't think it's generally possible to be larger erect than you ever were, although some guys do report gains and I'm pushing for a few more mm. But becoming a "shower" when flaccid is common and that's my own experience. Keep going!

Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery great so far but have a bend.

Re: Distal length
My distal was 14cm and my IPP is 22cm with 1cm extenders and I'm at 16.5cm after 7 months. I was 15.2cm post op and gained the rest over the next 4-5months with aggressive cycling. As others said, cycle, cycle, cycle.. as full as you can get it and work through any pain. As my Dr said, "no pain, no gain!"

Out of interest why did he give you the X as opposed to the AX?

My surgeon explained that the X offers greater rigidity, while the AX’s length-expansion feature has only been tested outside the body and may not translate the same way once implanted. I’ve also come across information suggesting that the X is better for maintaining girth, which is particularly important to me since I was at 7” pre-op. That said, I’m considering a revision to the AX in a few months if I don’t see gains from cycling with the X.

Thanks for that. So its essentially a matter of choice? I'm considering the same surgeon as you and have a consult with him in a few days. I'm tending towards the AX as maintaining length is my main priority. I'm not so concerned with girth as I've never been that girthy and I guess you don't miss what you have never had.
I also lost a lot of length after my prostectomy but have regained it with the Restorex device. Now that I've got it back I don't want to lose it again and have all that hard work go to waste

J, I don’t think so, because I have the medical documentation that says my internal measurements.
11cm distal and 10 proximal. So with the 18cm LGX and 3cm that totals 21cm. I could possibly be oversized a little bit, because in my early journey when I was cycling the implant, when I would pump to the max, I could only stay fully inflated for 20 to 30 minutes before I started hurting bad in my glans.
After 6 months, I could go 1.5 hours before I would start having a lot of discomfort in my glans.

While it may seem a simple math calculation to get your final penis length based on your implant length. It doesn't work that way. The access incision is next to a thin tissue that does not correspond to your pubic bone. So your distal is only related to a surgical entrance. Not your useable penis length. Your proximal is inside your body
It can vary by alot. Implant buried in your body doesn't show on you penis length. Based on my own experience. I think after a year that you'll be at or very near your presurgery length. So about 6". If you do some carefull reading on FT. You can find men with an 18cm implant that are at 6".
One of the worst parts of an IPP is the worrying about your length.
