Gain or Lose Size After Revision

Postby Jsmith194589 » Sun Aug 17, 2025 11:57 pm

I’d be keen to understand how many guys gain vs lose size after revision. I’ve heard the cylinder size is often increased but does that translate to a larger penis?

Why did you go from the LGX to CX?

He & I had the same surgeon. Once you measure 21cm he automatically uses the CX. It was the drs choice, I've been very satisfied with it. I'm at 6 inch girth. A data point for those that think you can't get good girth with a CX. It is possible.

Been reading on FT for many years and yet to remember anybody saying they lost with a revision. As. Always if you have a qualified Dr there would be no reason to EVER loss any length. I’ve watched videos by the big names implanted that say you get average 2cm more on most revisions because the old implant seats into the crux over time and you’ve maintained a stretched out dick for however long you’ve had the original. My question and interest is it seems that the revision should last longer because I probably won’t pump it and do nearly the number of perito exercises as I did with my original unless I’m noticeably shorter in pumped up state.
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast with Classic pump 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong

My surgeon agreed to do a revision from the Rigicon X (non length expanding) to AX (length expanding). Would you expect me to gain any size? I will have only had the X for 8-10 weeks but cyclised aggressively from week 4 (over 2 hours every day). I would hope the length expanding element would provide at least an extra cm.

From what I’ve read and seen in big name videos the expansion type implant is more about having a more natural smaller flaccid than helping it to get bigger. If properly measured and proper size is used the implant should give you your max available size with any properly sized implant. If putting a too long implant in would make it grow they would do it in every case. If oversized it will just cause erosion and tear out the head of the gland.

that's simply because at the end LGX 18 and CX 21 are exactly the same length inflated. LGX 18 when inflated adds 3cm, so it becomes like a CX 21. This has been discussed many times

What you would notice with LGX 18 vs CX 21 is a shorter flaccid that becomes longer when inflated
LGX 18 + 1, 90 cc. 2023/12
Pre-OP VED length: 5.5". Post-OP: 4". At 3 months post-op: 5".

I lost 1.5” in length with revision. Also gained .5” in girth so volume is probably about the same.

To answer your question,Jsmith194589
The Doc that did my revision doesn't use the LGX much or at least the way I understood when I asked he likes the CX model didn't really get in to detail with him but went with his recommendations
