Started VED head turns blue.

Can someone comment on what i could be doing wrong?

i find it hard to maintain a seal my pump gauge keeps dropping so every like 45sec-1min i pump up to about 5 on the gauge. I've been doing about 15min and noticed that my head starts to go from red to blue so I take it out.

Any tips or is this ok?

You being worried about your penis turning from red to blue is a perfect example of why FrankTalk users since the beginning thought VEDs severely injured their dicks. Here's why they understandably but incorreclty thought that:

The very first time I used it, I asked him if it was going to break my dick. I thought I'd do something stupid and pump it way too high or something. He replied to tell me VEDs won't break my dick. And he was right. Because they don't.

The reason why we all thought that might be due to how everyone, including myself, throughout our entire lives treated their penis like it was a delicate and precious organ that must be protected at all costs. Maybe that's because it hurts so bad to get kicked in the groin. Turns out, for things like VEDs or stretching it, it's not like that. It can not only survive, but be improved, by any medically approved treatment, just like the rest of your organs. And all VEDs must legally (I think?) stop before reaching too much pressure.

Another thing OregonStrong told me was that first using a VED will feel incredibly unusual. Maybe painful, certainly scary, something we didn't think was possible or safe. But, "you will get used to it."

You're using it correctly.

Maintaining the seal is probably because it doesn't have as good of suction power as you'd hope for and you might not be holding it down hard enough. I'd also recommend placing it as high up and far away from your balls as possible. Helps to have those never to feel any suction.

Pumping is also more convenient. If you click the power on button twice for it to switch to second body icon thing, after you pump it to your desired pressure it will slowly lose suction like normal. When it drops a certain amount it will automatically inflate itself back up to your starting amount.
