Welcome MickyG. One week post op is very early in your recovery. There are variables and unknowns affecting your potential outcome. Assuming the procedure was performed by a competent surgeon, without complications or pre-existing conditions that could affect the result, many guys seem to eventually get back their original size, or reasonably close to it, but not always. Some have reported significant length loss initially, and a long delay before ultimately seeing desired results.

What size were you pre surgery?
Is your current 3 1/2 inches erect or flaccid? Is that bone pressed or just what you can see?
Do you have swelling in the pubic area (which is common post op)?
Has your doctor left you partly inflated until activation?
Which AMS 700 model and size do you have?
Does your implant have RTEs and what length are they?
What was the cause of your ED that led you to choose an implant?

I can only relate my own recent experience as a guide, but everyone is different. I was originally something over 6 inches erect pre prostatectomy. I lost some length and girth after that procedure but eventually regained it through daily VED use. Initially after my implant surgery I was left 30% inflated for 6 weeks and was definitely shorter. Although I didn't measure it I was probably just under 5 inches erect. Once activated and I started fairly aggressive daily cycling it didn't take long to start seeing improvement. Now at 17 weeks post op I'm over 6 inches erect, fully bone pressed close to 7 inches. Flaccid is now larger than pre-op, close to 5 inches, over 6 bone pressed. I'm convinced that cycling is the key to regaining size over time, and currently I plan to continue until 12 months post op.

I don't think your current size of 3.5" is enough information to estimate your size after about 1 year of recommended and effective exercises to recover. A more reliable estimate would be what your length was the day(s) before surgery, and because of your implant being an AMS 700 LGX, adding that number by 1 centimeter, 2 centimeters, or possibly up to 3 centimeters to get your future size number, assuming normal conditions without unlikely negative complications.
