Long Time Lurker, First Post – ED Journey & Consultation with Dr. Eid
Hello to everyone in the FT Community! I've been lurking for quite some time and finally decided to make my first post. I’ve gained a lot of insight from reading through the different topics and discussions, so thank you to everyone who’s shared their experiences and knowledge here.
A little about me: I’ve been struggling with ED for the past 21 years. The only way I can get an erection is with a tight cock ring, which gives me about 95% rigidity. The issue, though, is that as I get older, it’s becoming harder to maintain those longer sessions or enjoy certain positions with my wife.
Over the years, I’ve been leaning more toward the idea of becoming “bionic,” and I’ve scheduled an in-person consultation with Dr. Eid this September. While I’m hopeful, I still have some common concerns, especially regarding potential size loss—both length and girth—as well as the use of RTEs. I’ve also heard about issues like reduced axial rigidity or the pump sitting too high on the shaft, which is a bit concerning.
Apologies for the long introduction, but I wanted to provide some context.
My main question is this: What factors determine if someone will experience, for lack of better description, residual erections after getting the implant? Specifically, I’m curious about whether the head can still get engorged. Does your manhood ipartially trying to rise in the morning or during sex. I’ve seen mixed responses online, so any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks again for all the support and knowledge here. I’m looking forward to hearing from those who’ve been through similar experiences!
