AMS700CX with surfboard shape

I'm at the 4 week post op mark today. I'm loving this implant! It's truly an incredible piece of equipment. I've noticed that if I'm cycling with no actual stimulation, or sexual desire I have a thinner surboard shaped penis. I find it more comical than anything. I "accidentally" watched some porn, and masturbated very gently to see how my new toy would react. I was impressed at how my shaped, and girth changed right back to what my typical penis looked like before. Glans engorged just fine, and I became more round, and girthy. Is this typical for most people, or are some people simply stuck with the surfboard shape? I've also experimented with taking viagra while cycling just to see what the effect was on my shape. I get similar result with regard to changing from flat-ish to more round. It's like the wild west out here trying to discover what works best. This is definitely a fun science experiment. I'd love to hear what others are experiencing.

A lot will change for you over the coming months as your equipment settles in, your experience of size, shape, etc. will likely be changing relatively rapidly.

But that said, yes, the experience of a flat, surfboard type erection is a common one. I am like you: I get a flatter erection when I just mechanically pump it up without any arousal. But when I am aroused it fills out exactly as you describe, round and with a plump head. I don’t use any pills to get that effect, it happens fairly automatically when I am aroused.

it'll take some time until the implant becomes a little softer.
Fuck a lot, cycle regularly and try to inflate to max, that will expand the capsule in the Corpora cavernosa and the shape of the dick will become rounder.

Everything you described lines up with what a lot of guys report early post-op. That surfboard look when pumping without arousal is common, especially with the CX model since it doesn’t expand girth as much on its own. But like you saw, arousal kicks in extra blood flow that rounds everything out and fills the glans, making it look more natural. The fact that it responds well with stimulation and even a bit of Viagra is a great sign.

That was my exact experience at the beginning, my penis was surfboard shaped. Over time the tissue expanded and when I'm aroused it looked exactly the same way it did before.
