I just had my 6-week post-op visit, and my urologist cleared me to start working out again. While I’m grateful to have reached this point, I’ve been hesitant to jump back in.
I’m still dealing with some numbness in my penis and soreness in my scrotum, and honestly, it’s made me nervous. I consider myself a pretty fit guy and I’m used to being active, but I’m just not sure my body is ready yet especially when it comes to lifting or doing core work. Has anyone else who lives a fitness-focused lifestyle experienced something similar after their implant surgery? How did you ease back into your workouts? Any do's or don'ts you learned along the way? Appreciate any feedback or advice you’re willing to share.

I work out pretty hard 3 days a week. A combination of running on a treadmill, lifting, and rowing (machine).
My first couple days back I walked on the treadmill. Lifted well below my typical weights, and rowed gently. Then next week I jogged on the tread, lifted a bit closer to normal, rowed a bit harder. The next week I was back to normal.
Just ease yourself back in. Go gentle the first few times.

Thanks for this, really helpful. I think easing back in slowly like you did is the way to go. I’ll try walking and light weights first and build from there. Appreciate the advice!

Actually its a great idea, just take it easy for a week or two. It will actually help bring your body and mind back in sync. Your nummness will improve faster too. You’re going to do and be great again
Cheers brother!

Thanks, brother! I really appreciate the encouragement. I’m six weeks post-op and definitely ready to start getting back to myself. I’m going to hit the gym later this evening and take it easy like you suggested. I’ll let you know how it goes! Cheers!
