One week - what to expect?
I had my surgery one-week ago. My penis is 50% inflated and quite sensitive to anything touching it. Will that subside? The feeling of the half erection is annoying. Will that sensation subside in time? My worst fear is that the sensitivity will not go away. When injections worked, the erections were painful and not pleasurable. Has anyone gone through something similar?

Welcome to the bionic brotherhood!
you're just few dyas after surgery, give it time and relax, it all will get better, when the healing period (some weeks) will be over.
All the best

Welcome BlicksDick2025.
Based on my experience, yes it will subside eventually. I was much the same early on and it is now pretty much resolved, but it didn't happen overnight.
Now at ~13 weeks I don't have any significant discomfort and mostly I'm not even aware of my implant, unless using it. I was also partly inflated for the first 6 weeks and found it uncomfortable, and challenging at times. For me things started to improve once I was activated and deflated at 6 weeks, and I commenced cycling. I would consider having a high level of sensitivity as a good thing, for when you are further recovered and using your new toy

70 y.o. married from Sydney Oz. PC and nerve sparing RRP 2022, but still profound ED since. Tried pills, injections, shockwave therapy, VED. Finally implanted Mar 6 2025 AMS 700 LGX 21cm x 12mm, no RTEs, MS pump, Penoscrotal.
Recovery going well.
Recovery going well.

Congratulations BlicksDicks, Welcome to the Bionic Dick Brotherhood
Blicks, you're only at the beginning of your journey, hang in there and we will help you when we can with the knowledge that we have from our experiences with a new Bionic Dick.
Yes, a 50% inflated dick is a pain, and it hurt a lot, in the early days and then there was trying to go out in public and my wife is freaking out about the big bulge that is sticking straight out
Things for me got a lot better after 6 weeks too, from what LGX Downunder said, after I was able to deflate, but things really got better at the 4 to 6 month time period.
All of us heal different
Hang in there and reach out to us when you need help

It will go away! Hang in there, I was really uncomfortable and had so much swelling in my scrotum it hurt to just stand or sit. Be patient and in a few weeks you'll wake up feeling 100%!

Re: One week - what to expect?
Yes, many of us have been there.
The injections being painful was often a side effect of the prostaglandins, the active medication in the injections. That was true for me as well.
I had implant surgery 2.5 months ago and I know what you mean about the sensitivity.
The thing that was the most helpful to me was wearing a baby sock on my penis like a condom. That made things MUCH more comfortable.

Short answer: Yes.
You just had major invasive surgery.
Every thing in your nerve center is on HIGH ALERT down there.
Alot of rebuilding and restructuring is occurring even as you read this.
Expect soreness and sensitivity for probably 8-12 more weeks.
Maybe more.
