Is this normal? What should I expect at this point? I can't say that it has improved at all since the operation, even though the doctor insisted that it would (as well as others from this forum).
Peno-scrotal incision.
Affects the underside from the point of incision to the glans.
Thanks

Re: Persistent Numbness at 9 Months Post Op
My vote is that it falls within the expected range. Some people recover faster, and some take a year or more. In my case the sensitivity didn't improve much for at least six months, and didn't recover to something like normal until about 18 months. Additionally, I have found that using urethral trimix gel helps glans engorgement and improves sensitivity. You might want to try that.

My underside especially near the penoscrotal incision has less sensation as well due to the cutting . I'm sure there's not much you can do other than maintain the best blood flow you can.

Re: Persistent Numbness at 9 Months Post Op
I am at 9 1/2 weeks and other than a small spot, am completely numb. Despite having daily sex, I am unable to have an orgasm. When I visited the surgeon’s physician assistant, she said that I was a “statistical outlier” and said that she wasn’t going to bullshit me and that this may be permanent. People in this forum have been very helpful encouraging me to be patient. Because of my situation, I fight hard every day not to spiral into the depths of depression. Not cumming, over and over and over, during sex is actually painful. A prescription for a urethral gel has been ordered by my doctor but I am not optimistic. Every day, I wonder why I did this fucking operation. I fought cancer for years. I suffered years of ED. I spent the last year sleeping by my girlfriend, every night dreaming of the day when I could roll over and fuck her like a real person. I suffered through all the pain that all of you have suffered after surgery. And now, I am worse off than before. I feel that I am ruined. I get the feeling that this is the dirty little secret of implant surgery and that if doctors told the truth, many men wouldn’t go down this path. Others have encouraged me to “be patient.” But I’m at the end of my sexual and psychological rope right now. I still hold out some hope, but feel that I have been lied to by the implant manufacturer and the doctors who do this surgery. I’m sorry to be such a downer and hope that you recover your sensitivity.
69 years old. Prostate cancer followed by radiation. Implanted with Titan with classic pump on 3/24/2025.

lionsmane, I don't have a direct answer to your question, but wonder if a consultation with a neurologist might be helpful ?
lionsmane & Osprey_1, FWIW, I found some of the links interesting.

Re: Persistent Numbness at 9 Months Post Op
Hi I was implanted nearly 4 years ago and have a similar issue. I’ve come to the conclusion there was some permanent nerve damage as a consequence of the procedure. The numbness is mainly on the underside as you describe.
I take some solace, in that even though my own pleasure is limited I am able to satisfy my new partner and develop a more intimate relationship than was possible when my confidence and self esteem were shattered through persistent ED.
There is also an unusual pay off as a side effect, because I rarely orgasm the sexual tension doesn’t release properly, so I find this makes me keener to be amorous, affectionate and touching which amplifies the intimacy.
I am also gradually learning to focus my attention more intently on the limited sensation I do have, which occasionally now leads to orgasm. I am hoping to refine this technique over time through practice

this procedure is only satisfactory for those who have a 100% dead and buried dick, my dick still worked well with high doses of pde5, if I could go back I would do it immediately, we live in an economic financial era, the doctor no longer looks after the patient's interests, he looks after his own bank account wildly, there are no heads of state who intervene, to monitor the dirty tricks that these implantologists do to desperate men, even if they don't need this disgusting prosthesis yet they propose it anyway, those who come from years of ED are deeply vulnerable, they know how to take them by the throat, do the injections before the prosthesis, don't trust implantologists, it's like asking the cheap vendor how his fruit is or the butcher how his meat is
56, DE since 2010, the pills worked at high doses not well, on 01/23/23 titan one touch 22, Dr. Gabriele Antonini, Replacement from titan to cx 21 with ms pump on 04/03/2025, today I am almost 60 years old and have various pathologies, testosterone

I actually agree. If I could go back I would probably not do the implant

Wolfpacker but you basically had nothing to go back to right? Why would you go back to a dick that doesnt work at all? How does orgasm feel for you? Isnt it satisfying to release that energy? And you can probably fuck for longer and make girls more satisfied than the usual guy who lasts 6 minutes on average, right?
Whats obvious to me though is that this is something you only do when your dick really doesnt work anymore and not in my case where its getting smaller and more fibrosed overtime.
Sadly it seems like a roll of the dice. How much bloodflow you keep, if your tissue erodes over time or not, if you can orgasm during sex etc.
Russian dick roulette.

31 YO,
Diffuse tunica fibrosis from stretching/jelqing.
Several small circumferential fibrosises. Sex and masturbation makes it worse.
Before L: 6.8 G: 5.4
Current L: 6.3 G: 4.8

I could have a very weak erection for a couple of minutes. I could still have great orgasms through masturbation of course.
The reason I'd go back is mainly because of all the comfort related downsides of the implant. It's often hard to find a truly comfortable sitting position, being active in sports or swimming is a pain, etc. It has brought down the non sexual aspects of my life in a major way. Also, the penis itself thins over time after you get the implant so you feel less and less of your own squishy natural tissue as the years go on .
