Tubing placement and cycling

Postby Nico_from_belgium » Tue May 27, 2025 6:01 am

Hi guys i have two questions,

I'm wondering if any of you can feel the tubing on the side of his dick an if the tubing is a little bit higher than the shaft. I mean, when i'm standing the tubing is hidden in the fat pad, but when i'm laying on my back i can feel it on the side of my dick and the beginning of my testicles. I would like to know if it can be pushed a bit further as i think it could be felt while having sex.

For the second question, at the beginning of your cycling did you felt too when fully pumped a sort of electric shock (really short but quite intese) in your penis? I've cycled a bit and it happened twice, always when i reached a new level of pumping and i think it feels like the cylinder expands, uretra moves or scar tissus collapses (or anything else like that)

Thanks for your advice

Nico_from_belgium, my tubing seems much like you described. When standing, the top of the pump is just below the shaft and the tubing wraps around the left side of the base below the surface of the fat pad. My wife says she does not feel the pump, nor the tubing, during PIV sex. When I pump 100% I feel pressure, or a very mild dull pain, towards the top of the shaft and glans. I don't recall ever feeling a jolting pain.

I had a situation where the tubing protruded about one inch out from my scrotum on the right side and bent back upon itself, along with the reservoir that had migrated to a position along my penis. This has hopefully been resolved with a revision that removed the old reservoir, replaced it with a new one in a better location, and checked the tubing for kinks and twists. Hope this helps!

Nico,
My tubing placement is similar to what Chuck describes. When flaccid I don't feel it (unless I touch it) or see it, but fully pumped/erect the tubing does protrude slightly at the base of my shaft on the right and seems to wrap around underneath. I can feel it when I touch it but it isn't too obvious visually. My wife also has not noticed or commented on anything during sex. If anything I would guess it could improve stimulation, as it increases the girth of my dick at the base when 100% erect.

I haven't had anything that feels like an electric shock. I do get occasional sharp but minor twinges in my shaft and scrotum, mainly after cycling or sex, which I assume is associated with continued stretching and healing of everything.

Thanks for answers.
I haven't anymore electric shocks now I think something settled in place and I think it's my uretra that has to find it's place between the cylinders.
About the tubing I guess that it's not noticeable as you probably don't push all way in but maybe if your partner is on top of you she may feel something. But for now I'm just guessing.

Nico, my doc wasn't a high volume implant surgeon but he did a great job tucking the tubes and securing them so they wouldn't ride up on the shaft.

I agree with Kodixx
My wife says she does not feel the pump, nor the tubing, during PIV sex.

I can feel the tubes at the base of my shaft on the right side, if I poke my fingers into the fat pad. I've never had my wife complain about anything bothering her while we have PIV sex, even though I can feel the tubes.

I've never had any of the sharp pains that you are talking about when cycling. It could be just nerves healing and firing off when connecting. I did have a lot of pain in my shaft and glans for at least 6 months. It would hurt when I would deflate and squeeze my penis to get all the fluid out, it didn't sting or have a shooting pain but it was definitely a different type of pain.

Nico, it just takes time,
Hopefully your nerves will start healing and the sharp pains will get less and less

I think the tubing on the left side is causing a large lump to form by the base of my dick when I inflate. It is not painful but I actually loose about 3/4 of an inch in penetration. I’ve talked to my Urologists PA about this and she sent me for a CT scan. Does anyone know if tubes can be re-routed without the complexity of a full revision?

My tubing is sort of obvious on the left side, but the girls I've been with are none the wiser, and it makes no difference during sex whatsoever.
