Here's my story!

Thx to all the people on the board. Lots of useful information and inspiration.
Surgery was March 27

First a big thanks to THIS community for being so helpful about what to expect and questions and concerns to address.

Late 50s male.
I had surgery in NJ in as out patient at surgery center.

Had a prostatectomy 2.5 years ago- cancer free with nerve sparing roboti surgery . Was heavy when i had the surgery then a year after surgery started focusing on health and stopped drinking and exercised more. I am in decent shape now

Suffered from Ed prior to cancer surgery that wasnt helped by being heavy and a big drinker.

I was taking cialis daily for enlarged prostate and supplementing with Viagra from time to time. Also masturbated 4 to 5 times a week + sex. (I think this helped me keep length post as blood flowed even though I couldn't stay hard) Sex w wife 4 to 5 a month.

After prostate surgery healed great. Lots of sensation, no leaking very fortunate. But pills didnt get me hard. Still jerking off regularly. Doctor suggested trimix. I hate needles! But moved forward because i wanted to make love to my wife, be inside her not just make her come. The first 2 times was like i was 18 again! Then reality hit. I was always sore from the shot but what started happening was the shot wasnt working. I couldn't reliably find the right spot. I went back for lessons the problem continued -it was super frustrating to endure the jab with no certainty of reward. My wife was understanding and supportive. I also worried about scar tissue. I have a doctor friend who mentioned it was something to be concerned about longer term.

Finally decided to ask my surgeon about an implant option. I met 2 implant doctors picked one and moved forward.

Day of surgery was hard to wait the 2 hours while they Iv antibiotics. Was nervous because after all this was optional surgery.

My doc makes an incision above the penis, by the crease. I call it my c section scar. There's a website that somebody recommended in this thread that shows pictures of what your penis is going to look like afterwards that was helpful to see the scabs on the glans. And the pump was going to go by my pubic bone but it migrated because there must be some sort of opening from when they did the prostatectomy and so it's by my belt line and visible. If I take my shirt off which is fine.
Post op

Goto doc day after

Put antibiotics on scars. Wear tight underwear so shaft doesn't move. 30% inflation. I go back to work in sweats 2 days post op. On my feet for 4 hours out of day w some breaks when uncomfortable.

Hardest part is getting used to pump and release in the scrotum. Need to pull release down 4 times a day. I think its both to get used to feeling things and also to make sure that it doesn't form a scar and stay fixed. Sitting is less uncomfortable than it was at first but still healing a sore from time to time. Beltline feeliing better (I think that it heals like a hernia)

I was really worried about pain from pulling and moving bulb but getting used to it not sure what changed other than healing. Some chaffing on my balls but that may be because now shaved.

Also getting used to having the implant in shaft. Random aches.

I went back after a week and was healing well but still a little swollen and sore . I seem to be healing well and look forward to cycling having intercourse again (and again lol)

I got a Titan. Turns out i was right to not worry about how big my dick is/was. I only got 20cm. More focused on making sure it works to my satisfaction.

Also I'm happy to discuss all aspects of the surgery.
Today it's about 5 weeks I don't go back to the doctor until next Friday. I am horny and wanting to try making love to my wife so I may before the visit.
I've been about 20% inflated but couldn't help myself and have started pumping and deflating. (Prob only 60% ). Frankly the OTR isn't as easy at it looks in the video. Hopefully I am doing something wrong.

My pump has healed and is almost never sore but need to be aware of I wear pants that are snug at waist.

Really glad I puled the pump down. No more pain and it's comfortable -mostly- in my scrotum

Sounds like things are going really well for you, congrats!

If you're comfortable doing so, putting your prior measurements, current measurements, implant type and size, and surgeon in your signature is helpful to those of us who are still pre-op. Thanks!

Do you mean the reservoir migrated? I was told by the doc that because of my prostatectomy the reservoir could not be placed deep due to scar tissue from the earlier surgery, and I have the same issue with it being very obviously visible and squishy. It's like a shampoo bottle got put under my skin. I really hope that it improves over time because it's right on my beltline above the hip.

Good luck on your continued recovery and keep us updated!
