My implant failed at 6 years. I think.

I have a AMS CX implant. After some good sex, I am now only able to inflate it about half way where the bulb of the pump remains flat when pumping it up after several pumps. I can press the release and I feel the click and the bulb goes back to normal.. But again after pumping it a few times the bulb just stays flat.

Anyone else have this issue?

Not looking forward to a revision if that is the case. Kramer did my original one about 5-6 years ago in Baltimore.

Im in the Palm Springs/LA area and would like to chat with others who have used a DR on the west coast who does ALOT of these implant surgeries.

Thanks!!!

second that. if you are in palm springs, dr. patel at ucsd makes the most sense. high volume, a lot of experience with revision surgeries, and within driving distance.

try squeezing the penis while pressing the deflation button, if the pump inflates, try pumping, it could be the valve that is jammed and does not return to the inflation phase

I second what Frank said.
There are troubleshooting techniques that may resolved a pump issue.
You can call AMS too and they can walk you through some.
Good luck and fingers crossed for an easy fix.

in case you're googling, that's spelled Karpman.

I don't think that's the issue. I can clearly feel the click when I start inflating. And the bulb inflates until the third or fourth pump. Then the pump remains flat.
