Can an implant be used with a different brand reservoir?

I was just wondering the following : I noticed that during revisions the most challenging part is removing the reservoir, so much that often surgeons leave them inside and put a new reservoir on the other side and people end up with 2 reservoirs at the same time.
If a reservoir is not broken, often surgeons use the same reservoir with with the new implant, to avoid having to remove it.
However, If someone wanted to switch to a different brand during a revision, is it possible to use for example an ams reservoir with a titan implant, or vice versa?
I am assuming the reservoir should not be an issue to work with any brand as long as it holds enough saline, but I wonder if brands make them incompatible on purpose.
Just a thought I had today and curious if any of the guys who switched brands here kept their old reservoir.
