Reservoir migrated

I have the AMS 700 CX implant. The reservoir has migrated to a lower position, and there is a sharply bent tube, similar to when you want to stop the flow of water to your lawn sprinkler without going to the faucet. It makes it very difficult to operate the pump.
I have seen my counselor, who agrees about the migration and the bent tube, and has ordered a CT scan to confirm the new location. She also scheduled me to see my surgeon later in the month for a visit. She stated that they would probably do an incision on my abdomen and move the reservoir to its new location. It might take 4 weeks to recover from this.
Has anyone had something similar? I don't know anything more than what I've expressed, and I am curious about the procedure and restrictions — I would assume no lifting, swimming, or similar activities. Any input would be helpful.
