For those with implant, how long did it take to be completely over recovery to the point you didn't thing about it anymore?

I was inflating it week one ( very hard to do with the swelling so not very often ) by the 3rd week i was inflating every day, week 4 I used it first time with my wife. By week 6 had clearance to use it, yes I told him I was already doing that and he said just go easy and no vacuum pumps, or anal sex till at least week 8 ( anal is not an issue because 1 I'm not gay, and 2 I just don't do that or enjoy it when I've tried it ( she didn't enjoy it either )). So I'm just over 8 weeks now and really haven't thought about the implant unless I'm pumping it up for use for at least 2 weeks. So around week 6.

It was 7 weeks for me having sex and took time to get used to this thing and I guess after a month or so I felt back to feeling normal again. After 2 years in It feels like my natural penis and has been this way for a long time now.

It was six weeks before I tried anything. First sex at 6 weeks made me hurt. I had a long, slow recovery.

Same at Oldguy for me too, I had a long recovery. Some guys do and some guys don't.

I was cleared for sex at 6 weeks, but I was still having a lot of pain, so I waited till week 8. Sex at 8 weeks was painful because I pumped up ahead of time to be ready after foreplay. It was awkward because I didn't think I was hard enough and I didn't good feel in my dick and it made it difficult to find her hole without some guidance. I had a lot of throbbing pain in my dick for the next two days, I emailed my doc and he said I over did it and to just take baby steps.

I would say that it took at least 6 months before things felt normal again. Now that I'm a little over 3 years out, it is just like my old dick except that I can get a hard on anytime I want.

I don't really notice that my dick is different until I touch it and I can feel the implant tubes, but when I'm sitting, walking, hiking and biking, I can't tell any difference from my old dick.

7 weeks but with pain that limited how long I could go. At 11 weeks there's still some minor pain but I can go the distance :)

I was comfortable after 4-5 months with no issues. By the one year mark I would actually forget about my implant sometimes for a day or two. Prior to the one year mark it was pretty much on my mind day and nite… but not about pain or worry, just about having a working dick and how AWSOME it was!!! By two years it’s hardly even thought about most of the time…

I started having sex, but not comfortably, two months after my surgery.

At around four months, sex started to be consistently good--free of real pain and discomfort. That was also around the time that the cylinders began to soften enough so I didn't feel like I had a wooden dowel down my pants leg.

I had twinges of pain and discomfort for months after that. Nothing serious. I chalked it up to my body still adjusting to the implant.

And even now, 4 1/2 years in, I'm regularly conscious of the implant. When I'm dressed, I have to adjust how I squat down to pick something up because the implant sort gets in the way. And laying on my stomach isn't really comfortable because the deflated implant is still a much more solid lump than a naturally flaccid dick.

But, these are really little things. And, truthfully, I still think about my implant a lot because I'm so happy, still, to have it.

I'm now day 12 post-op and have been pestering my wife since day 4, because there's no pain and because of my "have boner will bonk" mentality.

I'm certain gentle sex will be perfectly pleasurable, but she's having none of it. "The doctor said 6 weeks - I was there!".

Short of getting the rohypnol out, I'll just have to keep using my seduction powers i.e. whining.
