Only two hours after recovery, currently mild pain. One night left in the hospital, tomorrow the catheter is removed. Still very scared of recovery, in a relaxed state until operation 4-6 weeks. AMS700LGX 18+2 Hoping for the best

Congrats... the hard part is over now its just rest and recovery. Most importantly - sanitize your bathroom, EVERYTHING! Infection is the kryptonite to your bionic super powers that await you. Good luck

Congrats, I am only 48 hours ahead of you and I'm very pleased with my recovery so far. No swelling when the bandage was removed 24 hours later, but I ICED very aggressively and I also have a JP drain. No pain but I got a nerve block.....all in all 48 hours in and enjoying a fantastic recovery so far and I am wishing the same for you!

Good to hear that you are doing well. I’m two weeks ahead of you and I am healing nicely. I found the worse discomfort was during day 2-3 post op.

I encourage you to keep a large frozen bag of peas on your entire groin as much as you can and if possible, have someone get them in and out of the freezer for you. You really want to stay on your back, in bed, with a bag of peas, as much as possible during the first three days. The more you do that, the faster your recovery.

Congratulations again!
