Dr Eid and Rear Tip Extenders (RTE)

Has anyone who had "penile implant surgery done by Dr Eid" had Rear Tip Extenders (RTE) put in?
The reason I am asking is because I have read Dr Eid does not recommend the use of RTEs
even though many other surgeons do continue to use RTEs.
Below Dr Eid stated in an 2014 interview in an Online magazine "Renal and Urology News":
https://www.renalandurologynews.com/exp ... y-options/
"I don’t particularly recommend using rear-tip extenders. The rear-tip
extenders do not inflate, and the pseudo-capsule of scar tissue that
forms around the base of the implant, over time, loosens up. So even
though the patient is able to get a good erection by pumping the implant,
the base of the cylinder will start to wobble over time and the patient
will complain that the erection drops down instead of pointing up."
On the other hand here in this video Dr Clavell discusses the potential value of RTEs:

So I am just wondering if Dr Eid actually:
(a) never uses RTEs or
(b) he merely tries to minimize his use of RTEs or
(c) he uses RTEs selectively.
I am curious to hear from those people here in FrankTalk who have had Dr Eid perform
their penile implant. Did you receive an RTE?
Thanks.
