I am over 8 years post op, and the last two times my wife and I have been intimate, I have had severe rectal pain. Incidentally, my rectum was removed 11 years ago, so it can not be intestinal.

Has anyone else experienced this? I see a urologist in 3 days, but wanted any input first.

What did you find out? Is pain the only symptom you are having? Let us know what is going on with this. Best of luck to you.

69 years of age, ED was due to surgery nerve damage.

I saw a doctor today who specializes in implants, and he said there is no migration or anything else that should be causing the pain. He suggested there may be an inflammation, and suggested taking Ibuprofen if it happens again. No signs of infection, either apparent, or by blood test.

I had a similar symptom but when i was recently implanted (not after 8 years). I felt almost like i had hemorroids or something, which i never felt before in my life. And sometimes i would even slightly accidentally notice after wiping myself after the bathroom, randomly like an hour later i would need to wipe myself again as if my anus was leaking. Really weird symptom, plus pain in the are aaround the anus. I still feel it sometimes but not as strong.

I also thought it was a migration but the doctor checked me and he said the rear tips were in the correct position. He said there may be some nerves in the area that might get accidentally hit with some movement and somehow transfer discomfort to the anus.
