Does the sound of your Titan pump bother you?

I'm now 2 days from my surgery and feeling a lot of different emotions. Overall though, I'm feeling optimistic and also anxious to get this over and to move on to a better place sexually and mentally.

I'm getting a Titan with Classic (Genesis) pump as my surgeon, Dr Karpman, recommends the classic pump over the one touch for a couple of reasons. He feels the one touch is more prone to failure with the tubing and also is more difficult to find and operate the deflate button. It's also larger than the classic pump.

I had originally wanted the one touch because I heard the classic makes a sound when inflating and I really don't want to sound like I'm playing with a dog's squeak toy while I'm pumping up. But, he says it's not really very loud and I'll get used to it and it won't be a concern.

So my question is, to those with a Titan Classic pump, does the sound of it bother you, or your partner?

I have the Titan classic with the Genisis pump, my doctor said the same as yours. I've had it for a little over a year, it works great. If you get in a hurry and squeeze it hard and fast it will squeak even then its not very loud. If you take your time and do full slow squeezes odds are you'll never hear it. My wife says shes only heard it one time and thats when I was trying to have her hear the squeek. The only problem I have experienced is trying to deflate it after cycling the implant when I first got it. It was a little hard to find the deflate bars it just takes a little practice. Overall I'm happy with the Titan classic and happy I did it. Good luck with your surgery and be sure to use lots of ice!

My titan touch pump definitely honked when pumping. Didn't really bother me though

Thanks for your reply; that’s good to hear. I’ll be happy if mine turns out like yours.

Mine is exactly like Tony=T . Generally people hear it makes a noise and they immediately think of a semi truck horn! The pump is moving fluid from one location to another so what's an occasional little squeak? I rather like the little sound as it's telling me it's working. My wife has never heard anything nor complained. You'll be okay.

Quick comment. I've got the One Touch. I like that it makes no noise, a lot. It pumps up fast and easy. Also, for the first 6 weeks I had difficulty deflating it. However, once I figured out how, it's a non issue after the 2nd month.

I'm happy with my OTR, granted I cannot speak about the tubing issue.

I have the OTR pump. It still makes noise even though it is not supposed to make any.
I would encourage you to rather embrace the noise. Use it like a mating call. That is what I do. Wife loves it!

Which reservoir size do you have? Is it fully filled?

Not at all. If I pump it up v e r y slowly then no sound can be heard.
