Stretched length vs VED length

I'm doing regular stretching in advance of an IPP implant, but am looking for clarification from others who have been through this.
Basically, my stretched length, bone to tip is 7" (17.7 cm), but my VED length is only 5.5" (14 cm).
I presume that stretching lengthwise steals girth and in the VED, stretched girth steals length.
So, my question is, what will the surgeon decide will be my post-op length, sizing his choice accordingly?
If in fact he only decides using the stretched length measurement, will my obsessive cycling post op give me the 7" I want, given that the implant will initially stretch girth over length, at a guess, then once the tunica has stretched to its maximum girth as limited by the implant, it can then stretch longitudinally?
Thanks for any observations.

Might as well share a doctor describing it. Was my urologist who first implanted me.

He's gonna choose your stretched length. You will get the 7" or more that you want but excessive cycling isn't required. A good healthy amount of feeling the burn is good. But 30 minutes a day probably enough.

Thank you, that's encouraging to hear.

If your doc determines the implant sized based on a bullshit stretch, he's a quack.
My surgeon never used the stretch, nor wanted to know what I thought my size was and he sized me perfectly.
I wish some of the "top" surgeons would stop doing it just for practice.

most Doctors give artificial erection and according to that they size the penis

"most Doctors give artificial erection and according to that they size the penis"
This implies that the VED size would be the determinant, not the stretched length, amirite?

I'm just wondering if there's any proof to the claims doctors use a "bullshit stretch" test or artificial erections. True it's not like your personal stretched flaccid length. They stick a measuring device in your dick and stretch it that way. Not artificial. Any implications your VED size is used is defeated by what my doctor literally wrote above.

Where did I read that while asleep, the surgeon inflates the penis with fluid (presumably saline), for what reason I'm not sure?
It would seem to make more sense to first insert the measuring tool then push/pull the inflated chosen implant all the way, then finish off with the relevant RTE if necessary.
But what would I know? This is all very new to me, so I'm still confused.

Maybe we’re mixing up the length of the penis v. the length of the implant.
The surgeon doesn’t know what length you actually were before ED or Peyronies. During surgery he measures stretched and erect penis length before and after placing the implant as a reference for what your post-op length will be - at least - after cycling. The surgeon knows the “erect” penis length measurement during surgery is maybe off because the injection during surgery caused the penis to erect, but not the glans. So “stretched” penis length may be a little closer to your real size post op.
But neither of those measurements has anything to do with the length of the implant.
That’s the length from the opening of the corporotomy to the distal end of the corpora underneath the glans, plus the measurement from the opening of the corporotomy to the proximal end of the corpora inside the body. Add those two numbers together (separately for each corpora) and you have the length of the desired implant. If for example the measurement was 19cm, he might use an AMS 18 cm implant with a 1 cm RTE. That’s 7.5”. The actual length of the erect penis is maybe about 15cm. That’s why the length of the implant is always longer than the length of the penis.
