Coloplast Titan Touch(!) - How hard does one have to press the deflate button?

Postby fl1pstar » Tue Dec 24, 2024 7:56 am

Hi,

title says it. Hopefully some Titan Touch users can ellaborate.

I'm sure I found the right spot but how heavy do I have to push it down? I'm already pressing quite hard but I don't get any feedback like a popping feel or moving of the button. Maybe there is no feedback at all?

Right now my IPP is deflated (doctors did it in hospital) but I am not sure if it's deflated by 100 %. Also I want to slowly desensitize my scrotums which still hurts since the surgery was some days ago on 12/20.

Thanks for your help.

you don't have to push it down, there are no pops, just a spring, you have to hold it down and squeeze your penis, starting to squeeze from the beginning and go down squeezing the cylinders, so that the fluid in the reservoir rises, even if you deflate it everything, some fluid will always return to the cylinders, the one touch title is a joke, if you don't press the cylinders it will never deflate

I have to push the button pretty hard. There is no noise, pop or other indication it's depressed. I hold the button down while I squeeze my shaft. It takes 30-45 seconds for full deflation. I wrap a layer of towel over my shaft while deflating, it seems to help and is more comfortable than on my bare shaft.
Since you are very recently implanted, I'm surprised you can even touch the pump already.

Thanks Frank and Old Guy for your answers.

I can very clearly feel the "Knob" I marked on the picture. It's obviously connected with the spring beneath.

So does the little knob move inwards if pressed correctly? It should. Otherwise how could it interact with the spring? And if it moves down I would definitely feel it as "indicator". Maybe you could clarify.

@ Old guy

My impression also is that I have to press hard. There's a video of Dr. Clavell deflating the Touch and you can see that he presses hard. That's unwise regarding it's your scrotum which is squeezed down on a very hard pump with edges and stuff.

Yeah, I can feel everything in detail. The pump is placed very good I think but scrotal pain is maybe still too much to press as hard as needed.

the pain is normal, as old guy said, it surprises me how you do it, just touching that point, it's clear that you're healing very quickly, don't worry, you have to push the tip of your finger, the fingertip, to make it fit into the button that pushes the spring, if you put your whole finger there, it even touches the hard part and it doesn't push the button with the spring, you notice that it is cushioning your finger when you have put it in the right place, in a few days it will be child's play, I can pump while walking without problems

Also it helps if you do this while in a hot shower or bath. Get the skin loosened up good, as well as the pump. Good luck, you are doing great if you are already feeling your way around the pump.

Thank you very much for that hint, Frank. Helped alot.
Using your fingertip shows you the button is more of a "squeeze button" than a "keyboard button" which fully pops down. Makes sense because it connects to a spring.
Concerning my healing: The first 3 days were really rough pain wise but like many users here say, every day is better than the day before and the last two days were a very big step forward.

Hi Wilson, good idea and I am definitely craving a hot shower but I'm not yet cleared for showering. The suction drainage was removed yesterday morning and I think I should go three more days without showering to reduce infection risk. Thanks for your wishes.

Merry Christmas everybody!

When I was first implanted, I really struggled with deflation. There were times I tried and tried, stopped and waited half an hour, and then tried and tried again. I was worried something was broken. I pressed super hard, as hard as I could. I would avoid inflating when I needed to leave home any time soon.

Now it all works fine, reliably, quickly, every time, and I'm curious what changed. It's certainly possible that the deflate mechanism "loosens up" over time. I've heard people say that. It's also possible that my fingers have gotten stronger and my scrotum less sensitive.

My instinct is that the most important thing is that I know just where to press now. Looking back, I wonder if I was sometimes pressing on the sides of that cylinder where the buttons are, instead of right on the end. Also, I think it's better to poke the tip of my finger into the button as opposed to the fleshy side. Maybe the button is nestled in a little?

There are two things I focus on. First, I press both ends of the cylinder, like I'm pushing them together. It's not like I'm trying to press where the button is. I'm just squeezing that whole cylinder length-wise, as near to the center of the face as I can. Does that matter? No idea, but what I'm doing seems to work. Second, I squeeze my cock while pressing the cylinder. I know that in theory my Titan has a "one touch" mode, but that rarely triggers. Rather, I have to squeeze out my cock while still squeezing the deflate button.

These days, I have finally figured out how to trigger "one touch" mode semi-reliably. I squeeze both ends of the cylinder with the tips of my finger, doubly-extra-hard, and the same time I squeeze fluid from my cock. While still squeezing my cock I let up on the buttons. Often the first time the fluid stops draining, but if I do that a couple more times, it will often enter "deflate mode" where it continues to drain even when I let go of the buttons. I call it "deflate mode" because there is nothing "one touch" about it. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this?

The only reason I do "deflate mode" occasionally is because when I do, my cock will "auto inflate", and I think it's kind of amusing sometimes to wake up with morning wood. Beware, because I've noticed that the first inflation pump can sometimes be very difficult after being in deflate mode all night. The pump stays hard and I have to do a hard "two thumb pump" to get it going. If I do the pump right away after deflate mode, it tends not to be stuck so hard like that, but sometimes still a little more stuck than usual.

(It's probably obvious that I spent my life as an engineer. Now I'm a cock-nerd.)

Hi CigareVolant,

thanks for your in depths instruction. I'm not cleared to inflate until week 6 (so in 5 weeks) and deflating is already done so I will most definitely come back to your post.

I got next to no swelling and I can feel every part of the pump but my scrotum is very painful/sensitive to being pressed against the deflating knob and this needs to change before I can do anything with that pump.

I have a Titan Classic pump, not a one touch. but I never had an issue deflating. its very obvious where to push, also I played with the keychain they gave me first, including wrapping it in a towel to make it harder, and I could still find the deflate button.

Now its easy to find, even if my scrotum is clammed up small... but yes, its not comfortable deflating, crushing your cock when pushing the button.
But... better than injections, and then cock getting soft after 20 minutes...
