So i am currently 11 days into recovery, i was stuck with a catheter in for 9 of the recovery days which was finally removed on Friday. This is because I had issues passing urine on the 2nd day and refused to stay over night at the hospital. While getting my catheter out the nurse made an observation that the implant does not reach the tip of my penis, this has bothered me and since getting home from the appointment i have been checking it out, it is most certainly not in my glans it stops just before them i can feel the tips but this is also in a deflated state.
My question is should the implant even in a deflated state be seated within the glans. If it does once inflated is there a chance it will extend to the glans? I'm still a good week away from cycling (maybe longer due to a pump location issue I'm currently working through) i have a funny feeling this is due to under sizing but wanted to check with the boys before emailing my surgeon.

Re: Advice needed
The tips of my implant are just short of the glans in the deflated state, but move forward when inflated. In my view this is normal.
I would ignore the nurses comment and not stress about it. Only when you start cycling will it become apparent if there is a problem or not.
Good luck

Exactly, just wait until you start to cycle and the cylinders are more inflated

Mine is similar, but after a few weeks into cycling the cylinder tips seem to be inside the glans even when I'm flaccid, although a little uneven. When I fully inflate the IPP they expand much further into the glans. I was also initially a little concerned about undersizing, but the implant appears to be continuing to lengthen (very slowly) with regular cycling. That's what I was expecting, but reading about the theory and living it out in practice are very different experiences. 11 days is very early, my dick still looked like a horror show at that stage, but cycling has been a game changer for me so far. Best of luck RMJ9224, let us know how you go after a number of cycling sessions. Results are unlikely to be immediate but with patience hopefully you'll get what you want.

Hi could you update your post?
probally a bit late for this but i still pop on every now and then to see how things are going, my implant is fine, had it now i dont know how long i stopped really counting the weeks but pretty sure it was installed in November. My resiviour still hurts on days for no particular reason its a mild pain nothing serious its fine more often than it hurts, as for the glans i think it is slightly misseated in there as there is a slight droop in the glans, enough for me to notice but not anyone else but works well enough that I'm not complaining. it performs perfectly well with no issues. i have used it countless times at this point and it has not disappointed.
My pump is still at the back of my scrotum which is still highly annoying but the pro's out weigh the cons
