Sensation: Let's be selfish

I have some concerns regarding sensation after implant. A lot of the literature, doctors, and patients are focused on pleasing the partner, not the patient himself. I see almost no discussion of sensation and pleasure in implant patients, even on this board. A lot of guys are all about pleasing this or that girl or guy.

I honestly don't care about people-pleasing. If I'm going to have an irreversible body modification done, I have to put myself first and not do it for other people. If it isn't going to feel very good to me first, I won't bother.

So forget partners. How does it feel to you? Would you have done this as a single guy just to enjoy jerking off a few times a week?

I don't think I have seen anybody posting about enjoying solo sex after implant. Reading between the lines, something seems to be missing from the picture.

It worries me that over a few years I have seen a number of people, some of them quite young, post that they don't jerk off with the implant, don't use it at all when not dating for long periods, don't inflate for long periods, and so on. This suggests to me that perhaps it just doesn't feel all that good. What's up with this? Does it not feel as good as a natural dick?

Great question. I'm curious as well. The very fact that so many of them rave about things like "I can fuck for 2 hours straight and give her multiple orgasms" seems like the sensitivity has decreased, leading to delayed orgasms, which could be a blessing in disguise for those wanting longer sessions!

Maybe that's not a welcome effect for those preferring to jack off in a 5-minute quickie masturbation session?

I do have ALL the sensations i had pre implant. The implant has nothing to do with sensations. It primarily is there to give you a rigid penis suitable for penetration. With a great surgeon whatever sensitivity you bring to the table should be the the same you'll have after you're all healed up. Am actually a bit more sensitive now when i cum than i was before implant.

This is exact the case, if the surgery is done properly by a good surgeon that know anatomy well, no complication like infection or hematomas occur, all nerves and vessels remain intakt and therefore all sensation that you hade before the implant will remain or just come back after all is healed well.

"Fucking for hours" means you can go on and on, with multiple orgasms and continue after each orgasm.

So if you had good sensation before the implant all will remain the same.

If you already had sensation problems before the implant, due to ED or venous leackage, that won't change very quickly either after the implant.
BUT in this cases your sensation and ejaculation might improve as you can go much longer and thus you finally might receive orgasm and ejaculation.

We I had 3 penile surgeries in 12 months 2nd one kind of extreme cut me open like a banana looking for an infection that was never there ... I'm not able to climax for the past 2 months and still in pain from the last surgery 6-2024 and I have a Rigicon mallabble so no pumping involved.

Got to give my 2¢ worth on this. Not sure why you believe all sensation is lost. Maybe guys who are newly implanted have reduced sensation, but that is normal after what their penis just went through. It takes a long time for the complete healing process, nerves are very slow to heal.
All my sensations are the same as before getting the implant. My climaxes are just as good, if not better, than before. I do masturbate a few times a month besides sex with the wife weekly.
I will add that it took me about six months for my newly implanted dick to respond like it used to. Now at five years post it is one of the best things I've done for myself, and the wife. If I was a single guy, hell yes I would do it. Know one single guy who is having a great time since his implant.

All the guys here on FrankTalk replying to your question are spot on with their answers.
Yes, it does take time to heal, and for the nerves to get back to normal.
Old Guy said it took about 6 months for things to get back to normal and that’s the same amount of time it took for me.
If I’m horny and my wife isn’t available, I’ll pump up to 70 percent for some me time and it feels real good at that level, just like before I got the implant.
Now, when the wifey and I are banging away, she likes it super hard, so I keep pumping until I can’t pump anymore. It feels just like my old dick and I have the same sensation and pleasure being hugged by her wet pussy, sliding in and out.
Now that I’m 3 years out from surgery, it just feels great.
If I were single, I would have definitely got it done too.
The majority of the guys that get the implant are 95% satisfied with their new Bionic Dick, yes you will have some guys that will have some problems but for the majority of us guys it was well worth it.

for many of us, we had nerve damage from a prostatectomy and they never healed. So your polling may be skewed or unrealistic...

At least for me, I don't have to worry about pills, tourniquet cock rings, VED, or Trimix failing anymore. I don't have to try and max out a Kegel to keep from losing it or getting bent in half, so (I hope...) I can mentally just relax and let things happen naturally. The past 10 yrs have been hell, but since I'm freshly implanted the recovery should be quick in relative terms.

I'm still getting used to seeing a minor chubby all day long, and I don't have to pull out the turtle head anymore. When I wake up I give it a lite stroke and giggle...

I have thought about this and I'm not noticeably aware of any loss in sensation, but I'm sure there probably is some amount. The important thing? It's a lot more sensational than impotence would be without it.
