I don't remember when you turn 18, but... If I were you (just my opinion) I would call or email Dr. EID office and get on the schedule for after your 18th for the 30 minute video interview $350.00.

You don't need anyone's permission, or recommendation.... Dr. EID will decide based on your interview with him if he will do the surgery or not.

I had my fill of disbelieving urologists in my lifetime, and insurance companies denying me coverage for something that is just as important as replacing breasts after removal because of cancer.

Its a cruel world.... Do what is best for you... I stand by Dr. EID, and believe he will do you right.

Daily Cialis (5mg) and VED is a nice combo and something I'm using myself. Wise of you to try other PDE5s to re-assure yourself on what effect these might have. What might be left to try is Spedra (Avanafil), and also there's another PDE5 'in the makings' called Simmerafil - it's now going through clinical trials, so to have it on the market might take a while...
As for VED, please make sure you're using it gently not to mess your nerves up. There's quite a lot of guys who are now suffering from Hard Flaccid or Long Flaccid conditions due to overpumping. Try using a pump with a gauge and don't exceed pressure of 5Hg. I've got LA Pump with elliptical cylinder (aimed at girth gains) and highly recommend it.

#1 where are you located? #2 have you been tested for venous leakage. #3. does trimix create a long lasting erection? Trimix will not work if you have serious venous leakage. I had a friend that had venous leakage as a teenager. He struggled with ed for14 years, even got married and fathered 2 children before getting his implant. #1 Currently, I'm in Buffalo NY but I'm going to college in Vancouver BC since I have dual citizenship and college in Canada is super cheap but since it's a long distance and the amount of time I get off is limited I either need to work around my limited availability to get the implant in February or wait until next summer which is the less optimal option for me because fuck ED.'

#2 I have not been tested for Venous Leakage, although I would be shocked if an ultrasound didn't reveal either a higher than normal outflow or reduced inflow, although the later would be more surprising to me since I'm young and in good health but venous leakage does not give a shit how young or healthy you are and can affect literally any man.
The reason I haven't been tested is because my urologist said that a doppler would be of limited value because it wouldn't change my treatment options or make oral therapy work any better and since it wouldn't make me open to trying injection therapy or change my strong preference for an implant and disgust for pretty much every other treatment option it wasn't necessary. I'm also personally apprehensive about it because if that shit were to somehow come back normal as it has for some other guys who still have ED in spite of a normal doppler I get the feeling any future urologists I consult about an implant would weaponize the normal result against me and say that since my doppler was normal it can't be vascular and therefore it's psychogenic based on my age alone then tell me to fuck off leaving me with a limp dick which nobody would be willing to help me fix.

#3 This is an extremely subjective and personal opinion of mine but I think Trimix is not a good choice. I have not tried it and probably never will because while injecting occasionally may not cause scar tissue buildup using this shit for any sustainable period of time will eventually cause so much scar tissue that instead of having just severe ED I will have three things 1. Super severe ED 2. scar tissue/ Peyronie's disease and 3. small dick because of the scar tissue that would annihilate the sliver of erectile function I have left. Also titrating the dose could result in a priapism if you take too much because if I understand it correctly trimix is extremely strong so much so that it's almost dangerous which is why guys who like it like it so much. Also some of the other problems with it are 1. you can only use it a limited amount of times per week 2. it needs to be refrigerated 3.It's somewhat expensive 4. You're sticking a needle in your penis which according to most guys who do it is not even close to as painful as it sounds but visually that's a lot to get over. Maybe if I was older I would think about it but still get an implant instead but I think it's not appropriate for someone my age because if I use it and get scar tissue that's going to make the implant procedure more complicated and make recovery more painful.

I get it. I’m 68 and you’re 18. I wouldn’t tell you not to go the implant route. I’ve got one. It’s great.

But I was on injections for 32+ years. When I got diagnosed there were no PDE5 inhibitors. No viagra, Cialis, Levitra. Your choices were a vacuum pump and a constricting ring or bimix.

After all that time of injecting between 3 & 5 times per week except for a few long stretches when I was deployed to Iraq etc…..when they busted me open I was clean as a whistle. No problems fitting me for my LGX. I basically got all my size back. No Peyronie’s, no issues.

My take on your situation is still I think you’d do well with an implant, sooner rather than later based on your mindset. I would try to hold off for 2 or 3 years to make sure your dick is finished growing. Unless you’re already John Holmes or Jonah Falcon and have excess size to spare a regular guy doesn’t want to leave any.

Another truth: over the years on trimix I ended up with a bigger dick. Granted, it wasn’t overwhelming. But remembering back to when I got diagnosed…..My dick was 6.5” x 5”. That was in 1987. In 2019. I got my implant put in. My final, measured at the urologist office, official pre-surgery size was 6.85” x 6.0”. So yeah, trimix gave me a girthier cock and I’m not the only dude who has seen that happen.

You can do what you like. I honestly think you’re headed for being bionic. That’s a good thing. My gut instincts are seldom wrong, though, and my gut tells me you’d do better if you tried shots for a couple of years before going that route. Once the corporal tissues are ripped out and an implant installed, there’s no plan B.

Thanks for sharing your experience with injections with me, I didn't mean to come off sounding like an asshole and be overly critical of injection therapy and guys who use it. I am somewhat under educated on using injections as a treatment for ED when compared to my knowledge on the implant mostly out of my fear for using them and hearing overwhelmingly negative things about them in general. I've also been discouraged by my urologist and my dad (who's a physician from using them) so it just never felt like they were for me. My initial impression on injections was that they were inherently bad and would only make your problems worse so I find what you've shared with me fascinating. It never occurred to me that trimix could increase the size of your penis and I certainly could have never imagined someone using injections for 32 years without any signs of fibrosis or shrinkage. I'm glad to have your perspective because until now I never even considered going anywhere near injections and while I still probably not use them I'm glad to have learned more about it. I also must say thank you very much for your support and being on my side. This isn't an easy situation and I don't have a lot of people in my life to talk about it so I'm glad to have found frank talk.

you must have the cash to pay for the implant, because with your attitube no insurance company is going to give you an implant. There are hoops you need to jump through and tests that need to be taken. Go to EID . he will tell you the same thing. Bye the way ,your first trimix shot is done by the doctor under his supervision to see what the results will be.

As strongly as you desire an implant I can see where you’re coming from. But as the veteran of 32 years of injections before going bionic I firmly believe your opposition to trying them is misguided.

It sounds terrible. Jabbing a needle in your dick. Most guys instantly recoil at the thought.

But we are talking insulin type syringes. 29, 30, or 31 gauge needles. Either 5/16” or 1/2”. I never used an autoinject, I did it manually the whole time. I used the 29 gauge and the 1/2” because my dick was kind of girthy (fat) and the 5/16” wouldn’t get to the erectile bodies. I wouldn’t describe shooting up as fun or enjoyable but the end result was and doing it was nowhere near the big deal you think.

I was already married when I went on injections. The kids hadn’t started arriving. So like a lot of young couples sex wasn’t confined to a bedroom.

A syringe with 0.3 ml of trimix isn’t costly so if it ended up not getting used it wasn’t a big deal. So going out carrying a loaded syringe in the console of my truck if we decided to go parking, hike a mountain trail, go to a secluded spot….I was always ready. Maybe a little more planning required than popping a viagra tablet but nothing major. There was an air mattress I could put in the back if my pickup and you’d know if we had had a good trip if I came home with an empty syringe and sunburned butt cheeks.

I’m rambling but the point I’m trying to make is a young, single guy who is trying to get lucky can successfully use injections.

Are shots the permanent solution? Probably not. But before you let someone rip out all of the wiring associated with developing and maintaining an erection I think it would be unwise not to give shots a good faith trial.
