implanted in a month

Postby Simoxxx » Tue Mar 26, 2024 8:28 am

Hi everyone, in exactly one month I will receive my implant. These are endless days, full of worries and fears, but I am fully determined in my path.
the severe venous leak caused me to shorten and the fear of getting a further leak worries me. From now until the surgery I will do two VED sessions a day to try to preserve the measurements.
On the one hand, I am aware that, in the worst case scenario, it is still better to have a smaller but functioning penis than to have a penis with serious erection problems.
Dog ears, breakdowns, breakages, infections, shortening, are all concerns I have on a daily basis.
I know that I personally can't do anything about it, so the only thing I can do is cross my fingers and hope that everything goes well.
The idea that I will finally be able to have sex without any worries is the incentive that I am doing the right thing. (not like now that to have sex I have to use the VED device with one or more constricting rings, taking away all the naturalness of the relationship).
So all I have to do is wait for this month to pass quickly and keep my fingers crossed.
47 years old, I have been suffering from erectile dysfunction for about 24 years due to a serious venous leak. Pills only worked at the beginning now I use VED with cock ring but not entirely satisfactory. Planting scheduled for April 26th

Good luck, friend. I did It 6 days ago and no regret. They usually say that the beginning is usually traumatic but, when you hace been suffering for years without sex there is just hope in the future.
Late twenties. ED since very early twenties. Unable to have sex.
Implanted 20-03-2024 AMS LGX 21+3 cm. Dr Juan Ignacio Martínez Salamanca (Spain).

I was implanted 6 days ago and I had all the same worries as you. I quit smoking 16 years ago by thinking about one thing only. I can make it to the next minute, next hour, until lunch, next day, etc. I kept repeating in my head the saying that "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." I took the same approach to getting ED fixed.

I am doing good at six days and each day it's getting a little better. My dick feels weird, my balls look weird, it feels unnatural, I'm worried about judgement, etc. BUT.....Just looking at the years and years of posts and comments on here and all the stories and there is one constant. Time heals ALL.

I had so many sleepless nights where I'd stare at the ceiling. I could tell you how many times my ceiling fan went around at night. I laid next to a beautiful woman who showed empathy, but silently was disappointed.

Now, I am "quitting smoking" again per se - it's one hour, one day, and tomorrow I'll be one week. Everything I (and you) are worried about now will be a non-event in a year.

Stay strong - you got this!

Best of luck. It's tough not to worry. Just remember that many of the issues you read about here is really a small percentage of implant problems. There are thousands of happy implanted men who are never heard from.

I was implanted 8 days ago and am on the happy path with only some minor discomfort while the swelling slowly dissipates. Keep pushing those fears to the "back-of-mind" and know that your old worries will soon be history. Hang in there and keep us informed.
67 yrs old, married ro my beautiful wife for 43 years..oral meds did the job beginning at 58 until undergoing RPS at age 64, Trimix worked until it didn't. Implanted with 20cm Titan (no RTEs) by Dr Levine on 3/18/24
