how hard to squeeze pump?

Once I get the easy pumps out of the way to inflate and the pump "marbles" to a hard state, how hard should I try to squeeze to get the extra pumps in. I thought the initial "marble" hardness was where I stop. I dont want to break it trying to force something..

I've been going through the same thing.

Mine seems to have softened, and I am getting a lot more little pumps out of it. But I squeeze it sometimes, and I'm not sure if I am going to pop the bloody thing.

I would like to know if there is a limit, too.

i've noticed that if you wait a little bit (1-2 minutes), its easier to get a few extra pumps in there. I would say its pretty difficult to "over-pump" the implant. Once mostly inflated you will need to apply more pressure to the fluid in the pump to overcome whatever is generated already within the cylinders.

Can't say how hard(as in psi) but I can say, my first one I had for right at 7 years. I would squeeze it as hard as I can using both hands. Did that every day the whole time. Doing the same with the replacement. I use the thumb and forfinger of one hand on the pump and then the thumb and fingers of the other hand on top of that. Then squeeze as hard as i can. But thats to get the absolute max out of it, for the length and girth.
For everyday comfortable inflation i just use one hand. Unless your EXCEPTIONALY strong in the fingers, I doubt you could hurt it. But if you want to be sure, you can call or email the maker of your implant. They can give you an answer.

Not sure which video I watched by perito but the pump and cylinders are rated far above any number you can possibly reach with your hands so no worries. I also use two hands until I have no fluid after the one year mark. Try the perito exercises, they will soften the cylinders and stretch out any restrictions that your tissues have in them and then you can get a few more small pumps in. This is what I think allows you to reach your true max.

When your pump gets too hard to squeeze anymore, do the Perito exercises and you should be able to add another 1 or 2 pumps. Keep doing that until you can feel it stretch and you should get to a point where it gets a bit painful.

There is a popular study where the implants are inflated to 20psi. I talked to my dr about this study. He replied that few men can get past 12/13psi.

There is no way you can burst your system by hand pumping. Guys, quit your worrying.

Btw, I posted this exact same info on March 12, 2024. Does anyone read old posts or are you just starting a new thread just because??

It is hard to find the info when using the search bar for old threads.

This thread has done a great job at answering the OP's question that I was becoming concerned about, so it has helped more than one person.

Found your post --

Over pumping AMS 700CX

I am 2 months post implant, and have been cycling twice a day. If in fact the AMS 700 CX does not have any type of safety valve to keep from over pumping, how is it possible to keep pumping after 40, 50, 60 pump ? At 40 I'm hard enough for penetration but can still continue to pump. Where is the excess fluid and pressure going ?
Peter

Not the same question and not the same implant.

Are you just calling the OP out because????

The most helpful policy might be provide the URL to the thread that would help the OP that he, for whatever reason is not reading, and then he gets his answer
