i was released (which I did).

Just had some soup - drinking lots of water now to recover from the stringing pee symptom - which is working.

Just took my first Norco and am getting comfortable.
Tomorrow need to visit Levin's office to have the drain removed. I also need to remember tomorrow to ask which size Titan was installed.

So Im lying flat im my recliner with ice on my underside (cooling my scrotum). A few other motes:
before surgery asked about the pump and was told it will be the classic pump. Also was told that Thursday will be next milestone (I should remove bandages and Have my first shower). Oh and another tidbit He was successfull in getting the resevoir placed in an optimum preferred position despite having a previous hernia that was fixed with surgical mesh.

Well the Norco must be working so I
will quit rambling and will provide another update tomorrow.

Sent you a pm

Day 2 tasks Tuesday 3/19:

1) On/Off ice sessions
2) Keep emptying and measuring my drain collections
3) Back to Dr. office to have drain removed

All went well and I chose to stay on the prescription pain meds. Also the drain removal resulted in losing some "mummy gause" and i could then gently feel the pump in my left sack.

Also had enough stool softener to have both of those functions approaching normal.

Amazon delivered my Sepratech 2 pouch support-briefs today just in time for the remaining mummy wrap to come off tomorrow. Overall a 90% pain free day

Day 3, Wednesday 3/20.

Last night was better only woke up once at 4:30 AM to pee and take another pain pill. Will be switching to 500 mg Tylenol later this AM. I am currently laying flat in a recliner sitting on the frozen peas.

Today's plan: Stay horizontal with intermittent icing for swelling and will remove the rest of the mummy wrap. Can't wait to have that first shower tomorrow .

The rest of Day 3 went well:

Removed the Mummy Wrap and all looked as expected some bruising and swelling, appears to still be some very minor discharge where the drain was removed.
(With a fresh set of underwear will get a better reading on this before showering tomorrow). Note: used to be a "turtle-neck grower", I can now preview that I have become a "shower".

Quit the Narco and transitioned to Tylenol, and with some add'l help from Colace, the constipation finally ended. Note: I should have quit the Norco one day earlier.

Spent the rest of the day horizontal with frequent icing.

Day 4, Thursday 3/21.
First full night of sleep 9+ hours, only discomfort I have is lower back from laying down so much. Started the day with a Tylenol.

After checking the underwear found zero signs of discharge - so my plan for today is a shower (finally), more bedrest and icing.

showered yesterday afternoon (day 4). What a luxury! Seems to be a bit of lingering surgical tape left (but that is to be expected. Spent the balance of the day horizontal and icing minimal discomfort & swelling is starting to go down.
