The short answer is you never stop cycling.

It’s not exactly like drinking a Dr Pepper where you’re supposed to drink one at 10, 2, and 4.

You’re gonna get lucky? You’re gonna cycle. You want to jerk off aka “beat the meatles” you’re gonna cycle. You want to show off at a pool party in your hot Speedo you’re gonna cycle. Hell, you just want to admire your boner in a mirror you’re gonna cycle.

Probably never, unless your never EVER going to use it , admire it, or anything involving an erect penis. Now as for daily cycling for growth, length and girth, that's up to you.
Personally, in the 7 years I've had an implant, I cycle almost daily at least once. A couple reasons, 1, to keep it stretched,(l&g) 2 I think cycling makes and keeps it easier to do, keeps the pump easier to work, and 3 and Probably the most important one, because I can and I love seeing it hard lol

First, doctor's recommendations?
According to the Mayo Clinic, 1 year, twice a day, 30-minute sessions.
I'm almost 5 years post implant. Inflate daily, especially in the morning. (morning wood?) lol

I did twice daily til about 12-13 months at which point I maxed out totally, as in ran out of fluid. Pump ball goes flat and won’t refill. Looking back at Drs notation on the Coloplast form. For the 20cm cylinders it recommends 68-78cc of fluid. He put 78cc so it’s as much as should be used at max stretched out. At this point I just cycle when I want to enjoy the feeling, masterbate or have sex which is usually 3-4 times a week. If I go more than 3 days, I really feel the tightness for a few minutes when I max out, then it feels normal after 10 minutes or so. I’ve read where many have this same thing. At first I thought I might have a leak but it never fails and its very hard at this point. Another reason you usually get about 2cm bigger upgrade when you get a revision.

I rode a bicycle for up to 12 months, now I've stopped, it's been over 13 months and no leaks, remember that the system is a mechanical object, the more you use it the more it wears out, exposed to breakages, no one will ever be able to change this thing , even if there are men who ride a bicycle their whole life

When we use the term "cycling," does this refer to intervals of inflating and deflating the cylinders or is it just a matter of inflating them and letting them sit in the inflated position for a period of time?

Inflate, hold it for 30 minutes, optionally do the Perito exercises and try to pump up some more, then deflate. That's one cycle.

I cycled daily for 7 months, quit in mid January. Still have sex once a week. At six months I did not see much improvement. So I quit doing it. I have a AMS CX.
The wife is very happy with it and comments on nice and hard it is.
