Of all the Penile Implants Operational steps.....All were rather easy going, but the Pump / Cycle seems like it's a Top Secret Thing. Hard to find info, hard as hell to pump, hard as hell to use. There must be something magical about this Pump / Cycle. I'm on week 10 - 12 and not a damn step closer to Pump / Cycle. It makes you feel closer to ED as before surgery. You have no urge or motivation to even use this thing. For all you that said, You will love it and will enjoy it.....What drugs were you on? So far the Penile Implant has been a waste of time. Got an Implant with No Inflate or place to go.

its way to early to even think about quitting

my doctor told me not to even touch my pump until i went in for the two month check up.

he pumped it up and down a few times without effort and told me to play with it and he would be back in 30 to see if i needed any help.

i was no where comfortable with the cycling until the start of the third month and it gets easier every day especially if i am in a hot bath as it seems to soften up the rock hard ball

i went to thailand near the end of march and for most of the month of april and had sex a twice on week 11 and 12 / sore but acceptable and then every day starting on week 13 and at week 14 it was multiple times a day  (my last week there) april was very hot in thailand so it was actually nice to come home to cooler but rainy temperatures yesterday.

hang in there it does get better

After about 4 months post OP I was able to really use the implant and have Sex. It takes so much time but then it’s worth it. IMO

Still struggling.....It's been 3 months / 12 weeks. Pump still hard as a rock. I wanted to try some padded pliers to squeeze. But I have another URO follow in 2 weeks. Hopefully, I can get some real answers, as to why still pump is so hard. I hope I don't have to get a pump exchange. I was looking in my original Surgical Package and found a AMS MOCK UP pump (600659-01) AMS Pump. I guess it's a phototype of the actual pump. That little phototype squeezes. It's hard, but it does squeeze. It's got them little ridges all around the pump ball. But nevertheless, it squeezes. I hope that is not what's inside, but if it is, at least it squeezes. Has any one seen any of these phototypes and how close it it to the real thing? It's difficult to believe this hard thing is actually something you have to squeeze for sex.

Yes its hard as a rock, I used to think, jeezzus how can they even think this is ok,Lol. You have to use both hands, I’ve always had very strong hands even so, at first both hands there are technical instructions on several persons pages here. Because im generally right handed I use little finger on right hand and pinch just below pump. This frees up right index finger and thumb to assist left index finger and thumb grasping and squeezing pump while cupping, it’s not as complicated as it sounds. You will get there, enjoy the process.
That dang pump is built to last a long time so its a bitch at first.
Good luck

When I was first given the okay to cycle, it worked for one day. Bulb was hard af. I went back to the doctor.....he was perplexed for a while, but then after some effort got it "unstuck." He said he was going to make calls to the manufacturer to find out wtf.

When I saw my visit notes, he described it as an airlock. It was not an easy task getting it to work. But, since then, it's good.

A trick you may try is to give it a pump or two, if possible, hit the deflate button, and try again.
