Food was Meh (that's NHS)

The pre assessment was very thorough.

After the pre-op I trusted to put everything in thier hands.

I've got a dick that I could have better sex with while deflated than pre-op on piills etc. so no complaints.

Had two guys on my ward that had their prostates removed and there was me with a new dick. It was difficult to not feel truly blessed and grateful.

One thing to note is you don't leave that hospital until everything is 100%.

I'm looking forward to seeing the staff when I go back 7th March to start cycling.

Not sure about St Peters as I have never been.

How did you fare with length and girth.

Could you have sex at all prior to this?

Thanks.

Yes, as far as I know, they are top surgeons in the UK for Implants, reconstructions, and all else that can fix a dick. They also train others in Europe, or at least I know Dr Raplh does.

I've not had it fully inflated yet, but when it was semi-inflated, it looked good, and it looked good when it deflated. As others will tell you in here don't think about the size thing until some time after cycling (I did just that, but can also see he is going to be fine, more than fine).

If you see my signature, it mentions I did all the usual (pills, etc), and if you read my NHS story that gives some more info. One occasion I used the pump, and injection and a pill, and still managed to lose my erection.

I have a feeling that 25 years of ED has ended, and by the time it came to the operation, I was more than 100% committed.

Im not sure as I only had a VED to compare size. I have also not had it fully inflated yet.

What I have now, though, looks very good. Im more than pleased. It's a bit big to sort out in my pants without inflating as it is, so Im guessing my dick size is of no concern.

More will be revealed when I start cycling and after a period of cycling.

I used a VED for 2 years prior to the operation, and I reckon this might have helped.

No. Uclh screwed my implant twice massively undersizing it. Supposedly best doctors in Europe. Terrible service. Had to pay to see rhe same surgeons privately for them to admit something was wrong then got referred back to uclh. Dr ralph did my latest implant which I was somewhat happy with. Still slightly shorter than where the glans is. But it was usable. However it has just failed and I'm scared of losing size or another surgeon not sizing correctly again.
29 years old. Suffered with ED since 17. No known cause. First Implanted date 23/3/2018. Cylinders way too short and revised by different surgeon 2019. 22cm titan.
Cylinders still short and now pump is upside down and protruding. Awaiting 3rd revision

Who did your first implant, was it one of Dr Ralph's guys? Before implant you mention your ED had no known cause. How bad was it, could you have sex at all?

I'm trying to figure how bad younger guys Ed is before thry go for implants given my reasons for ED.

Thanks

What did the team at UCLH mention reference revisions?

If you have a problem with the implant can you reach out to them directly? Or is it a case of having to be referred through GPs and wait months.

For the first 12 months we can deal directly with the UCLH. After 12 months we have to have our GP refer us back.

I guess that covers any issues that could potentially lead to a revision.

I would like to eventually save the money so if I needed a revision I would go straight to Dr Ralph and Dr Lee and get it done ASAP privately.

Blimey, that is unfortunate. Sorry to hear you've had a rough ride with it all.

Who did your first implant? Which surgeon?

Thank you for the swift reply! That sounds reasonable. Do you know the approximate cost of an implant surgery when done privately through Dr.Ralph and his team?

I've asked my GP to refer me to UCLH as of yesterday. Could you shed any light on approximate timeline for being seen and implanted?

I'm seriously considering finance and going privately. I am worried about subsequent costs of revisions etc if not done through the NHS.
