Second time around!

Postby Raycaba » Fri Feb 02, 2024 10:56 pm

I am back posting on Franck talk since it was really helpful for me and gaining knowledge about implants before my first surgery. I was really worried about size and pain, but after three years, I have totally forgotten about the pain to the point that I’m actually going to have it done again. Size did not change what change was my attitude towards the size of my penis so I was fine with the size but now I have lost 40 pounds and the tubing is showing at my groin and I’m uncomfortable with it so Dr. carrion is going to go and sync the reservoir deeper into my abdominal cavity and at the same time I’m going to have my pump lowered behind my scooter and go from a titan 20cm to 22 cm while I’m at it. I’m concerned about how much pain this is going to be because I swear I would never do this again but so far the last three years that has been well worth it I must say.

My revision surgeries have always been less painful. In fact one pain pill the last surgery and that was just precautionary for the 5 hour drive home
Revision 2/13/24 Dr Tariq Hakky, Atlanta (Great Doctor) Titan 24XL no Rte’s. I’m 62 married. I have had numerous revisions due to product and body failures. Always had a Titan ipp.

First time minimal discomfort. Revision was nothing at all. Remember, each person is different so how we react to surgery and meds is also. Just prepare yourself and follow instructions given. Best of luck.

Like you I have lost 35 pounds since my implant and the tubing (infrapubic) comes out just above the base of my penis. It never showed til I lost weight now I have this small little loop that shows. My biggest concern is that while having sex and going in deep, which my wife loves, will stress the tubing and cause a leak. Also my resivour was put just under the facia due to hernia mesh 20 plus years earlier being where he would normally go thru the abdominal wall. This leaves a large bulge of the resivour showing. It was noticeable when I was 35 lbs heavier and now stands out like half a tennis ball! I’ve been debating about having Clavel look at it and see if it could be put thru the abdominal wall. On the fence to have it done now or wait til I need a revision. May be a good idea to have him look at it as it is now just to see if it can be put in a better location now or whenever needed. Keep us posted on how your surgery goes.

This scares me, what would you say would be the reason for so many revisions in such a short period? I would have to pay out of pocket and it seems weird that for some people its just revision after revision. Could it be that the person is doing something specific that the device just cant handle? Riding bikes or having a job where it comes under pressure?

To pay for a surgery and maybe 1 revision within a few years i could affoard, but not 3 in 5 years etc…
