I don't think you will have a problem getting it in. You might need the girl to assist slightly by aiming the head to the right place with her fingers, but you will have plenty of stiffness behind it to complete the insertion.

I think we're all different, but I can remember early on that the cylinder tips did mot seem to reach the glans. I have 700 LGX which is designed to expand in length and girth. I remember feeling the head a little floppy. We used a cock ring for awhile which helped firm up the glans, but now after six months post op I feel the tip of cylinders up on the base of the glans. I don't think they're designed to go into the glans. But it doesn't move from side to side. Also early on I couldn't pump it up as much as I can now because of discomfort. Your doc may be right. You might not be inflating enough. Find out what cylinder length he used so that you can get an idea what your inflated length should be. I remember telling my doc that I was measuring 5.5", and him telling flat out to get on the ball and start really pumping it up. Up to almost 7" now with the glans nice and tight if not hard.

55 years old. ED since 2002 total venous leakage after penile fracture. Tried all the pills and injections all failed to help. Some success with VED, but felt too unnatural to both of us, seldom used. Implanted 06/21/12. Trying to wear IT out.

When you guys say you measure 7" etc-how exactly are you measuring-guess I never thought about getting out the ruler and measuring- thanks in advance-I will post my pumped up length when I know how to measure properly! Jim

I have always been told by the medical community to measure along the top side with the ruler pushed against the pubic bone. This allows for a common starting reference point

I think the most accepted method is this:

Not that everyone does it this way. There are subjective issues even with that. Eg. How hard to you press against the pubic bone? Self measurements are notoriously unreliable too.

I too have the LGX 700. My doc told me that the head would not get engorged because the spongy tissue of the penis was removed, thus the glans is not getting the blood flow. It has gotten a little better with time but is not engorgement pre-implant. That being said, there is NO problem with penetration with it at all, and I get no complaints ;) My first time being pumped up in the doc office was VERY disappointing but with some time...and my wife and I both working with it it has gotten a lot better.

Just following up 2 years later.

The pumping was tough to figure out in the beginning but I think by the sixth month it became second nature... I have to pump the implant alot(15+ times) to get the penis fully erect but it doesn't take longer than 30 seconds or so.

I also have no issues with the head... It does get bigger when I'm aroused but I'm able to have sex even when it does not.

Thanks again for all the help.
