Titan pump issue

Postby Hrc714 » Mon Jan 01, 2024 8:41 am

My pump is still able to inflate, but with a concerning symptom. It often seems to pump backwards into the reservoir. The good pumps make the duck quack sound, but often I get a softer bulb that vibrates on compression. I can feel the vibration all the way through the tubing and reservoir. If I adjust where I squeeze on the pump and how rapidly I start to compress, I can get it back to quack. My feeling is the check valve is not seating and it takes a fast firm impulse to get it in position. Mr Dr has said she never heard of this symptom and suggested I set an appointment for review. Has anyone had similar issues with Titan pump?

The vibration thing yes, feels good when that happens, we need a vibrating version? Lol, but the other stuff not really. If I squeeze the tabs by accident/bulb at the same time then yes but sounds like thats not your issue.

Maybe once. If I remember the fix was hold the deflate button and pump the bulb a couple of times. That's supposed to clear and/or unlock the valve. I'm not a doctor so try that at your own risk.
