According to this video by Dr Clavell, around the 2 minute mark Dr Clavell says Coloplast updated the Titan touch pump in October 2021, making it "softer and more reliable"

Has anyone who's gotten a revision on their titan after Oct 2021 attest to this? Does the pump seem different? I'm having problems with my touch pump and deciding where I should get a new Touch pump, or go with the classic pump

Key point of info. Just because they updated the pump. How long did it take to use up the old stock? I can't see them just throwing pumps away. Especially if they've already been assembled to the cylinders. Some cylinders sizes get used more than others. I can envision old style pumps being in their inventory for quite awhile.

Re: New Titan touch pump in Oct 2021
I was told by Dr. Eid that he had reported issues with the titan touch pump to Coloplast who initially rejected his observation but later they came back to him stating there might have been an issue with the tubing of the one touch pump. The tubing it seems was the only part which coloplast does not make in house and has outsourced it to some other partner.
Since issue was identified, they have since changed the tubing.
Not sure if the issue wolfpacker is facing with the pump is related to the tubing. Also, the observation by Dr. Clavell that pump was made softer is different from tubing issue.
But I would be interested in knowing more about this as well.

I have the touch pump, implanted 01/23/2023 I think it is the new pump because it is very soft, the only thing is that the deflation button is not very protruding

I know there were problems with the one touch. I liked the one touch a lot too. I didn’t notice the bulb being hard to mash but had two revisions because of the pump. The classic which I currently have does not have a large release valve. You just mash on both sides to release. The current classic had a noise it made when pumping it up. I’m in failure now with revision hopefully in Feb. I have my preop appointment next week.
Revision 2/13/24 Dr Tariq Hakky, Atlanta (Great Doctor) Titan 24XL no Rte’s. I’m 62 married. I have had numerous revisions due to product and body failures. Always had a Titan ipp.

Which pump do you like more?
