I have the AMS CX I like how it performs for me, in particular in flacid state.it gets pretty hard. Interestingly after sex it seems to get longer then when I started. I have had it since April 2023

My Lgx is still amazing me at almost 4 years but at this point I am pleasantly happy with the shower aspect of the new me and the Lgx does shrink up substantially. Think the cx will preform well and not have the shrink of the Lgx does.

What do you mean about shrinking? Dó you mean you are smaller now than you were 4 years ago when newly installed?

I can’t speak for cbinspok but I think he is referring to what a lot of LGX guys discover.

After your implant, you’re bigger flaccid than you were before surgery. But not as big as you are when totally inflated. When you deflate, you see some shrinkage from max size.

Before surgery, let’s say I was 3.5” soft and 6.75” erect.

After the LGX, I’m more like 5.5” soft and 6.75” erect.

If I had a CX or Titan, I would be much closer to 6.75” soft and 6.75” erect. I don’t know how much length stretch you see when you inflate a CX or Titan - I don’t have one.

But I do know that my LGX is designed to increase 1-1.25 inches when pumped up. And it does work as advertised.

It does a much better job than most of those products labeled “as seen on TV.”

Thanks for your wishes. Her condition ended after two days. I'm now waist deep in the morass of doing the needed things a state away. My spirits are good. Work has to be done. Upside, she initiated less that 12 hours before her incident. Its alright, you can say she went out with a bang.

I will stay here. I get the serve others thing. I can be blunt, as you've pointed out before. Getting correct meanings into a written form is a skill that writers have, I'm not a writer.

My issue lays with the doubters that won't listen to logic or real experiences from others. If your not ready for an implant, I understand. Just don't stand in the way of those that do. Mens language is full of sayings. Lead, follow or get out of the way is one. Shit or get off the pot is another. A fence sitter is ok if you can articulate why your staying on the picket fence. Just tell us the reason & be prepared to back it up with logical answers. Bye gang for now.

Are you aware that the LGX implant "shrinks" in length a little upon deflation. That is the feature that is claimed to make it more comfortable. The CX is not designed to "shrink" upon deflation. I do not have any problems with comfort.

Cbinspok, just an opinion. If the 3cm RTE's moved your tubing in the distal direction. There is a chance, but slim chance, that they might be needed to facilitate your tubes being in the right place.

I had kind of the opposite problem. My deep cruz & being exactly at 21cm meant that my pump ended up on the high side. A fellow member, exact same implant & dr had a shallow proximal measurement. His bulb is on the low side. We fail to understand some of the things that the dr must compromise on.

I know that the LGX extends in lengths, but the way he used the word "shrink" made me think of something else.

But the way. if someone says "i have a 18cm LGX", does that mean 18cm in the inflated state or deflated? I always assumed it was 18cm deflated, plus watever extra length it gets when inflated.

Very good question. We've discussed that a lot. Try searching for the AMS techical surgical instruction booklet online. The version that I have saved sure leads me to believe that an 18cm measures 18cm. I believe in the documents worth reading section a pair of Titans & a pair of LGX implants are inflated & measured. The size changes are listed. I might be mistaken that they used CX implants but I think they were LGX. I think in might be called the Propper study.

Btw, be prepared. There is some conflicting info in the AMS booklet. I asked my drs nurase about it. She is in the operating room. She claims that the conflicting info isn't followed. So who knows for sure.

Read the book. Make your own determination. She claims it isn't done per the book on LGX's.

It was never my problem but I remember discussions about guys who got oversized with the Ultrex (precursor to the LGX).

Erosion, confined cylinders becoming a-shaped, etc etc.

I believe the 15/18/21 cm measurement of the LGX is in the inflated state. If they were going to put 23 cm of LGX+ RTEs in me, and they changed their mind and installed a CX, they would have put the same amount of implant in. It just wouldn’t shrink quite like the LGX during deflation.

Hey, sorry for the drop out of conversation,,
Txagq8 as always has said what I wanted to say, think of the lgx a bit like an accordion it has the ability to grow and reduce a bit more than the others, my point was better stated by others here that I might opt for a cx if I were to do it again just because I like the larger flascid now that I’ve had a taste of that look- ha.
The rte’s are a tool that allows for adjusting fit nothing more.
Cheers
