Thing is I've never been able to maintain erections for ages anyway... its not as though prior to this I was going 60 minutes on viagra.
I still found it hard tobstay hard over about 10 minutes

The unpredictable penis I can understand. I can't comment on the pelvic pain as I've never experienced that sort of pain. However, if it causes the unpredictable penis and the pain is tolerable when it occurs maybe the implant is a solution.
That inability can also affect your mental status, cause depression.

Bern with a urologist a while. I'm on Cialis daily and also viagra as needed, works better than nothing.. but the pain and changed sensations tend to throw a massive curveball.

I am going to get a doppler done at an andrologist in London... if it comes back fine I will have a difficult decision to make.

Very frustrating that there isn't a mechanical fix that isn't an implant. Still needing to be in the mood around distractions makes the pills unreliable.

Injections are far too invasive, painful and distracting.

. Have you actually tried injections or Muse, or are you assuming they won't work.

I tried aprostadil injections in urologists office, admittedly a very low dose 2.5 units or mcg... it puffed up slightly and hurt like hell. Never tried it since. Maybe I should try a more normal dose but it hurt so bad I wondered how I would have sex anyway.

Since cialis and viagra work somewhat i assume it probably would work at a higher dose.
I tried vitaros(aprostadil cream) which is basically muse that you apply to the glans.

That actually worked OK, but it was in a home setting so was more relaxed. Still had to use my hand to get hard.

Wondered about combining it with pills but didn't want to do anything that could be dangerous.

If you have tried injections I thought they would get. You hard automatically... do you still need stimulation?

Thanks

I combined both the pills and injections I would inject and then once the erection from the injection went away I would throw on a 20mg cialis and it worked phenomenally I would be able to have sex all day as long as you don't have a 4 hour + erection you'll be fine. Also, the insulin needles are way smaller than the ones they use in the office. Try injections before the implant (in my opinion).

Thanks, I may try this. Incidentally yesterday I took 10 mg cialis and was able to get a full erection for most of the time i was having sex because pain wasn't too bad.

Issue seems to be a sensory one hopefully not a blood flow as once I was in the zone. It wasn't going away unless I stopped although I couldn't keep it without some sort of stimulation due to the sensory issues.

I'm guessing in my case I should probably avoid implants for now given I can achieve and somewhat maintain a rigid erection given a mid dose of cialis.

Is it safe to mix apristadil cream or injections with cialis or sildenafil from a heart point of view?

Thanks.

Yes, because pde5's are systemic but injections stay in your corpora and only slowly leak out. I would also try the max dose of PDE5's before injections which is 20mg of cialis or 100mg of viagra.

See I said this on the Facebook ED group and got told by the urologist ed expert not to mix the aprostadil cream or injections as they are still absorbed systemically. It was always my thought that they weren't.

Is it safe to use injections/muse and cialis if your BP is good?

Are there any other dangerous reasons ( not priapism) for not doing this?

Thanks

I did not have full ED, but decided to go for an implant.

The positive:

Erection on demand: allways guaranteed and absolutely phenomenal, like a steel rod, if at 100%.
Penis size maintained, no shrinkage

The negative:

The pleasurable effect reduced compared to pre-op, there's still some residual pain while sex (six month post-op)
The flacid shape is totally ruined, penis angles to the side as if it is broken, so whenever I am going to be seen, I pump it erect so it straightens, it is that bad.
The pump in the scrotum is impossible to conceal when your testicles are being fondled, it is profoundly palpable.

Overall, I am pleased with the outcome, because sexual performance is guaranteed, however, the quality of craftsmanship by the surgeon could have been much much better.

The surgeon is one of the British high volume big names, the device is Titan by Coloplast.

Hi mate I'm also from UK and might be going down the implant route at some point soon! I've read similar issues with the Titan implant but the AMS seems to not have these issues with the flaccid, did you get to choose your implant?

It was my own choice, I opted for Titan because of its superior performance erect. I was not duly informed on how bad can it look in flaccid state.
