Didn’t know you just had surgery, congrats! When I first unwrapped my dick day 3 I had a hard left turn lol. I almost panicked. Actually even while wrapped I could tell it was going left a little. Once I max inflate now on day 5 it’s straight. However, definitely looking forward to the Titan working its magic to smooth things out over the next few months of cycling. My dick was bent, hourglassed and narrowed due to Peyronies. Immediately already can see a 70%+ improvement in that after surgery. The other 30% I’m confident will be worked out with cycling.

After having a congenital left curve my whole life this will be the best my dick has ever looked being hard and straight anytime.

Thanks and congrats to you too, "Iwillbeatpd"
I never heard of anyone being allowed to max inflate--or inflate anymore than the doctor left it--anywhere near day 5. Did your doctor already activate it? There have been stories of guys that got too eager, got ahead of the schedule and then encountered serious problems. Thank you for that encouragement!

Hey Rod-

I think normal protocol with my surgeon is to start cycling day 8-this is what I was expecting. However, when I went to have my drain removed on day 3, they cycled me and then told me to try myself- which I did successfully. From that day on he told me the sooner I can cycle the better. Didn’t seem like he was saying I absolutely had to, but he strongly recommended it so the reservoir could expand, and also so my dick could start expanding and working out any kinks.

Very odd how some docs have people wait a month, while others like EID and Hakky say day 3. Very different approaches, and oddly enough they both seem successful. In my completely uneducated opinion, it makes sense to me to cycle earlier to prevent the reservoir capsule from being able to fully expand. From what I read that can happen very quickly due to the body creating a shell or whatever around it. At the end of the day I’d ask your surgeon. There’s probably a lot more to it than I realize and they may have a valid reason for waiting. But if EID and Hakky, some of the best in the world, do early cycling, there’s gotta be good logic behind it.

Dr. Jesse Mills used a 24 cm + 1 cm RTE AMS 700 CX. He measured 16 and 9 cm with the Furlow dilator during surgery. Before surgery, without pumping I was between 6-1/2" and 6-7/8" x 7". I know it is far too early to be taking measurements, but of course I have, and I am seeing about 6-1/2" x 7". I am confident that with cycling and doing "THE Exercise" that I will get it all back, but rock-hard, which is the advantage of the 700 CX and the reason he did not use the LGX. Dr. Mills and the surgical notes say that it was straight when inflated.

Hey Rodman
Been checking to see if you had posted anything since your surgery. Looks like you have great results so far! You going to start a journal on your implant journey? I’m very interested in your out come with the CX and future results.

Ah, I am relieved to hear that your doctor saw you and approved for you to begin cycling. The wide variation of some of these milestones is somewhat troubling, as it seems as if every doctor is on their own. There ought to be real research to guide them, and enough of these are done that there must be enough data to be collected. Perhaps a limiting factor is that no doctor wants to be found to have recommended a sub-optimal approach.

Dr. Mills' instructions are that activation is normally done at four weeks, which is the usual time for the second follow-up appointment. Due to the holidays, my second follow-up will be 5 weeks. The doctor said that depending upon their evaluation at two weeks, he might do the activation then, and of course that is when I could begin cycling. I will press for doing it in two weeks, as I would be concerned about waiting for five weeks, although some surgeons wait six weeks.

Rick, thank you. Please DM me if you want to have some suggestions for going on an Atlantis cruise. We haven't been on the huge number of them that many have, but we have gone several times, and advice from those who have gone before was very valuable. You will have a great time! Here are some photos of our recent Atlantis cruise:

Looking good Rods, please give your self TIME to heal, I tell everyone this the hardest part of the implant process is the healing part, when you think you all better in a month, your not in 2 months you’re all done, nope. In a year you’ll look back and think Im way better then just 6 months ago… its a process, enjoy it and post for us your progress. Happy cx bud.

Dr. Mills does the penoscrotal method. That is the only method I was comfortable with, despite knowing the recovery is slower and more painful (due to no chance of nerve damage).

Yes, I am working on a daily journal with photos. I will post it as soon as I learn how to put up additional posts without the software repeating the previous post.
