Storage

Do most users of tri-mix fill their syringes upon arrival and freeze? I'm thinking if I only use it once or twice a month this would be the best way.

No I don't think most users do that. However some guys do fill and freeze syringes in batches. I haven't noticed any postings where guys have had issues doing that other than developing some air bubbles. I'd think the air would be easy enough to eject prior to injecting. When freezing my syringes filled with my alprostadil mono-mix I've purposely sucked a little air into my syringes to allow for freeze expansion. I then eject the air before injecting.

My only concern with freezing tri-mix in the syringe is based on the few reports I've read on the forum about frozen tri-mix, in rare instances, having some ingredient(s) precipitate out of solution. It might be difficult to see this precipitation in a syringe. I don't know what, if any, dangers would result from injecting tri-mix in which ingredients are precipitating out of solution or what effect it would have on potency.

One thing to checkout depending on your prescription, is Zion Pharmacy. It’s mail order, and they send Tri-Mix un mixed.
So its not frozen.

I get 2 2.5ml bottles, and a syringe of the water to mix in. Can sit for months, maybe a year and not mix or freeze, or even refrigerate.

Then I mix when ready, and refrigerate. Then use that to fill my syringes when needed. But I usually fill 8 syringes when I mix it, and then put those in little pen syringe carriers so they are easy to store in my fridge drawer.

Just an idea if anyone is interested.

its nice to get a regular shipment, and not a box with dry ice. :)

I froze mine in the little bottles, then warmed them in cold water. Once they were just slushy, I warmed them in my hands, shook them vigorously, and then loaded my syringe.

I tried tri mix with soft erection at a high dose ( almost a full syringe)...then quad mix. It worked great at 5ml. The side effects were extreme nausea and a splitting headache.

I'm doing a coloplast in December. Date tba.

The only time I've frozen my Trimix is when I got a refill, And still used my older vial.
Otherwise, it stays in the refrigerator and is used as needed.
My urologist told me that the Trimix can stay in the refrigerator for a year. As long as stays clear, it should be good to go.

I personally would not prefill syringes unless (absolutely) necessary. The reason is that you may dull the needle when putting the cap back on.
I had this happen several times when I filled the syringe and placed the cap over the needle. I then removed the cap a second time and had trouble injecting. Causing unnecessary scarring.

When I saw this topic in Implants, I was trying to figure out who stores their implant away, and how. LMAO
