5 year anniversary

Postby FreddyFree » Tue Oct 10, 2023 6:24 am

Today marks my 5 year anniversary of getting my implant.

I was hoping to use it more than I did with the 20 years of impotence. Not the case. My wife’s libido is basically non-existent since menopause set in.

For the guys who keep saying I’ll wait, I say go for it now.

There are things a gynecologist/women's health specialist can do to restore a woman's libido. Is your wife interested in enjoying sex any more? Approach the question not from a man's perspective or from referencing her orgasms (or yours), but from the standpoint of the closeness a man and a woman can have through touch, closeness, etc. Let the sex happen when she feels close.

Women tend to respond to closeness, especially if she does not think you are doing it just to get sex. Practice the art of seduction, right? You remember how to do that? More gently than when you (and she) were younger and randier.

For whatever its worth I went through the same thing with my wife. She's been undergoing hormone treatment specifically for her libido and I'm telling you....it works!! She may have to go for treatment every 3 months or so but it's not that expensive. Without this I would have probably had to look or go elsewhere.

You might want to investigate a slow release estrogen implant. My dr said its about the size of a grain of rice implanted in her hip. He said it lasts about a year.
In my mind, I think it might be like the Norplant birth control implants.
I spent a lot of time worrying about my wifes estrogen before I got my implant. Endometriosis resulted in a total removal, uterus & both ovaries.
We're at 5 1/2 months now. I'm being patient. I've got her to the point that she lubricates enough, she's up to several orgasms per session. Just need to work on longer time in the saddle. Currently, her hip starts to bother her before very long. I'm going to try to get her in to see an orthopedic surgeon next. Shes had a bad hip for years but is really hesitant to get it looked at. Shes a hard headed one.
