Numbness on the Underside of Penis After Penal-Scrotal Implant

Hi guys - I had my implant surgery 3 days ago via a penal scrotal incision. For the first 2 days, I was still under the effect of a nerve block which prevented any pain and pretty much made my whole penis numb. Yesterday the feeling came back into my penis except for the underside of my entire penis from right behind glans all the way back to my scrotum where the incision was made. Is this normal after 3 days? I am hoping its just a short term temporary issue and the numbness will go away. Anyone have any experience with this?

Same here and it scared the hell out of me. Only lasted a short time, a week to ten days.

Don’t worry. All that cutting down below is going to damage the nerves in the area. I had my fist sex at 10 weeks and at that time was still almost totally numb on my scrotum and lower 1-3, bottom side, of shaft. It affected overall sensitivity and i was able to orgasm about 50% of the time.

By June, 6 months postop, about 75%+ of the sensation had returned. Improved, but not there yet.

Now, at 8 3/4 months postop full sensation has returned. I can feel the gentle tickle of my girlfriends tongue on my scrotum and shaft again.

So, It took awhile for me. But, it will return for you. Be patient on this.

Five months in, completely numb. I can’t orgasm. Frustrated. Freaking out. If sensation returns, it will have been worth it. If not, it will have been a disaster, because this is worse than ED by far.

I'm a year out from my last implant surgery .. still numb for the most part ..edge of the glans is totally numb .. I think each of us heals differently and other factors ..age ..meds ..diseases all factor into the end result.
