Sorry to hear that, I like Dr Karpman and he did a great job on mine.

Dr. Faysal A Yafi is in Socal. He is quite famous. Not exactly Bay Area.

Isn’t flying to NYC to Dr. Eid not an option? He is really good with revision. As someone who got implanted in another city I can say that it is totally worth it.

sorry to hear of your troubles. I'm also in the bay area, and after meeting with my Kaiser urologist I knew he was NOT the guy. I was hopeful that Dr. Karpman would be an option, but after talking to his dismissive staff and reading some reviews I knew he too was NOT the guy for me.

I ended up in Houston with Dr. Clavell, and am very happy, but that does not help you at all if you're looking for someone specifically in the bay area.

Good luck.

I would try to meet with a few surgeons if you have the time especially for a revision. I met with essentially everyone in california/arizona after my move and COVID. I thought Dr. Karpman was also a little dismissive and knew our personalities did not jive.

Highly recommend Dr. Patel in San Diego that did my revision. Dr. Yafi was close second in Orange County, but he only really does Coloplast implants. I really wanted to talk to someone that offers and advocates for both.

I agree with this statement, I think it's a factor that many men don't consider. I appreciated that Dr. Clavell posted his Youtube video going over the pros and cons of both implants, it greatly helped me decide on which one would be best for me and my lifestyle and with Dr. Clavell's input, I'm extremely happy having had the choice.

Dr. Karpman did well for me, but after three unfortunate experiences I can see why you'd want to switch. I'm sorry.
