Almost 4 weeks out, still have a hemotoma so can't find deflate button at all. Folks which way is the pump supposed to be implanted?

Should it be implanted as in the Facing Up picture or the TotheSide one? Or does it not make a difference?

He said mine is facing the side. Is this normal?

That does seem to make more sense for it to be the way you have it, no? Wouldn't it be easier to deflate it that way? Even though I haven't been able to deflate yet, at the side would be harder than if it was on top if I think about it.

Looking forward to what the other guys chime in with.

Mine was forward facing right out of surgery and for the first week or so. At some point it went sideways. I actually like it better sideways. It’s easier for me to hit the button.

Mine is like pic 1. I find it very easy to use it in this position. Upon inspection by Dr. Cordon and also Dr. Eid post surgery, they both said the position of pump is great.

Mine is basically the second pic. Easy to use one handed.

Mine is on the side. Doc told me deflate button is usually placed facing the opposite side of your dominant hand. Not sure what the thinking is on that. All I know is it still takes me both hands to inflate and deflate.

Never thought about it but, for the record, mine is the second pic with the deflate button pointed away from me.

Mine is sideways when hanging on its own but, it easily turns however I move my hand. I can easily move it 180 degrees with no effort but always goes back to sideways like first pic which works great for me.

Thank you all for your replies.

Another question: where is the pump supposed to be? At the front or the back of the scrotum? Mine seems to be at the back.
