22years old

Postby youngman1 » Mon Jul 24, 2023 11:28 am

Hi all,

I’ve been reading this forum for quite some time now. I’m 22 years old from the UK. I injured my penis doing jelqing like an idiot a year ago. Since then I’ve only been able to achieve a 70% erection max, this is while laying on my back. If I change position it fades very quickly and attempting to get an erection while standing is out of the question. There was also a thin dark vein that developed on the underside of my penis since I done this jelqing. I haven’t woken up with an erection in over a year and I have noticed my penis losing girth. I’ve tried 20mg cialis and 50mg viagra but they hardly improve my erection quality.

I decided to get it checked out with a private doctor who referred me to get a Doppler ultrasound and mri done. I was injected with 10mg caverject for the Doppler. I could only get to a 65% erection with this and it faded straight away. The person doing the Doppler told me that my blood flow going into my penis was good but I had too much outflow which makes sense as I can’t keep an erection. I meet with my doctor next week to discuss the results.

I am in very good shape and workout regularly, my problem is 100% not hormonal. My doctor also told me to get a blood test done which I will do even though I see it as a waste of time.

I wanted to get some advice from some younger people (under 40) who have gone through with this and what their experience with putting it to use has been like. I have read some guys complaining on here about their implants deflating during rough sex and that they have to pump it up again is this true for the majority of people with the implant or is that just a one off malfunction?

Given that I am from the UK, I will opt for the NHS route should I decide to go ahead with the implant. I’ve heard Dr Ralph is the best. Has anyone here had this procedure done with him?

Given my age I don’t want to have to deal with this problem for long. I also don’t want to go through the prime years of my life, where I could be developing myself, spending silly time researching different ways to cure ed. So far from what I’ve read pills injections and the implant are the only approved treatments. I get quite a lot of female attention so having this problem really frustrates me. Any feedback and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your issue . I don't know what jelqing is but I'm gonna look it up . Don't limit the advice you receive from younger guys " under 40 ." We were all young once and some of the best advice you'll get are from of the older, well seasoned members in this forum. Their experience and knowledge of everything ED and implant is invaluable. Seems like just yesterday I was in my mid - twenties, going to the gym 3 to 4 times a week, running 4 miles a day and in the blink of an eye I'm 53 . I don't feel any different than I did when I was 20 or 30 , other than an occasional ache or pain , these reading glasses on my face and my frequent trips to the bathroom to pee a couple drops . Other than that I'm exactly the same  . Hope things turn out well for you . Don't be anxious about an implant if that's the route you have to go . They're pretty great imo !

I was just thinking about age and how it's a relative experience. When I was in my teens , I thought people in their 30's were old . Now that I'm in my 50's , I think that people in their 30's are young . I use to joke that the older I got the smarter my Dad got . All the stuff he use to tell me when I was young , when I incorrectly thought I knew everything, turned out to be true . ;)

Sorry to hear about your injury but after you get the implant, my guess is, you have a HUGE!! blessing in disguise. Once healed from the implant you will be able to out perform any 22 year old, you will still have the fast recovery time from being 22. I think you will have a ton of fun.

No, you do not have to keep pumping up, it shouldn't go soft on you from aggressive sex unless something is wrong with your implant. I would recommend getting the implant ASAP, the next 10 years could be the best sex ever, I can't even imagine having this implant in my early 20s, it would be epic. I am a bit envious. Good luck with what ever you decide, would love to follow your journey if you decide on moving forward.

HOG !!! I AM SO WITH YOU ON THIS STATEMENT! I almost wish I had an implant my whole life ! I want a re-do . Having this rock hard erection on demand is incredible! Last as long as she wants . Orgasm.... still hard . Drunk.... stil hard . Pass out , fall asleep..... she can still ride you because you're STILL HARD ! I wish I can have a reunion with old High School girlfriends or the friends with benefits i had ! It would be incredible. I've gained size with an implant. Let those rumors fly with my old flings . Oh to be 22 again!

Youngman1. I'm not going to lecture very much. Just remember that erections are a man thing & our feelings about our dicks generally doesn't change much as we age.
I've never read of deflations during sex on this forum. Please be carefull with info you get from other sources. Think about jelqing advice. Have I said enough?
I can envision that a few circumstances might occur where a guy might want to add a few pumps. In a rush & didn't fully inflate. He's early in his recovery & his tunica is still stretching so his implant needs a few more pumps as the tunica relaxes. Even the chance of a failing pump. But please remember all of these are very rare occurrences.
You sound like you will be able to make the right choices. Read FT a lot. All the info you need is here. The only problem that I see in front of you is getting the NHS to accept the idea that a young man needs an implant. Be firm, don't give up. Btw, I read of a FT member that got an implant at 18.
Good luck.

It is obvious that you are a good candidate for an implant, although you are too young. I do not see another route for you to go to get the ED issue solved.
On the other hand, you need to know that the implant would be something that you have to consider while performing any daily activities. Going to the gym, running, or playing sports. People with inflatable implants have reservoirs and pumps. You need to wear a tight underwear if you are running or jumping so that the pump doesn't move. Muscles around the reservoir should be dealt with carefully. We often hear here about reservoir pain or movement. I feel pain in the scrotum when I run and on the reservoir area when I perform some exercises. This is my personal experience and at my age and lifestyle, I am okay with it. I know that a lot of members here do not experience the same issues.
You can also get yourself informed about the malleable. I see that many members here are happy with it. Every implant technique has its pros and cons. Weigh them and take your time to make a decision that suits you.

To be honest that’s probably the main issue I’m facing with the implant alongside its relatively short lifespan. I do mma and workout often so I don’t want that to be affected by an implant. Would I be able to handle body shots where the reservoir is and will I be able to lift heavy in the gym without feeling pain in my abdomen? I know you’ve said you feel pain but is that true for the majority of cases?

I’ve read about the malleable and have pmd some people on this forum that have it, just waiting for their responses. The only problem with that is the large flaccid. Aside from that I’ve heard you won’t need a revision which sounds very promising.
