I am not a doctor, but I think it is like any wound that can be treated by various types of topical solutions that contain antibiotic and/or tablets.

Got little bit of infections on my stitches, dr asked ne to take unacid for next 10 days. I hope it goes away.

I had similar. Seemed chronic for a while. Did resolve with antibiotics and daily gentle cleaning/blow drying.

I am 9 days out. Skin around pump is still sore. No issue in mobility. Icing it 3 to 4 times a day. This is more mental surgery than physical.

Is it oral medication? I think this will protect your implant from the infection, but I thought an antibiotic locally applied to infected area would help as well or washing regularly with an antibacterial soap. Just a layman opinion.

Yes its an oral medicine, i use antiseptic spray to clean the wound and sleep naked with shaft taped to belly to dry balls.
