I was 64

The pain was manageable, not awful.

Most guys are different - for me it was 7 weeks. The doc said 6 weeks but I still had some pain, so I waited another week. It was great to have sex again, but it wasn't great because you are getting use to everything and there is still numbness and a little pain.
I made the mistake of pumping up ahead of time the second time for about 20 minutes before we got it on and I hurt a lot the next day; I thought I had messed up, I called my doc and he said just take it easy don't overdo it.
It gets better every day.
I'm now 18 months out and sex is great :!:
I can pump up ahead of time and it won't hurt and I can leave it pumped to the max without any discomfort for more than 1.5 hours.
If I just pump up to 85 or 90 percent, I could probably go all night with no pain behind my glans.

I tried mine out, gingerly, at about 6 weeks.
Still had moderate pain and some swelling.
About a week later I had a nice session with my favorite 23yo nymphomaniac. She gave me a great workout, and everything felt pretty good afterwards.
Now, at almost 5 months, I can give it to any girl as long and hard as she can take. :P

54. Surprisingly little pain. It was more just discomfort.

I had more pain cycling it two weeks later and even that was manageable.

I was 65 and had been through pills, injections and VED with varying levels of success.
The last time I had sex was when I was 62. When I had healed from the implant surgery, which was not particularly uncomfortable, my libido was completely gone and I had zero desire to use it. My wife likewise had lost interest, so we became basically roommates. Our life is good - the intimacy was good while it lasted, but nothing is forever.

I was 53, the pain factor was not an issue at all (just discomfort for a few days like someone else mentioned), and I could use it regularly at 8 weeks, with the caveat being I could use it regularly and comfortably without time limits at like 6 months.

56, very little pain. Used one pain pill to ride in car 300 miles home day 3. But didn’t really need it then. Discomfort is the best word. Began gentle cycling at 13 days and sex at around 20 days. Was painful during and more so afterwards… but was still amazingly that it stayed hard!! Lol. By 2 months sex was just uncomfortable if I went at it too hard and ache a little for an hour or so afterwards. By 6 months almost no discomfort. By 8-10 months it’s the most amazing thing I’ve done in over 10 years of ED!! Rock hard any time for as long as I want with no pain no discomfort and better sensation than I can remember in many years!. It’s a journey… takes time but is absolutely well worth it!
58year old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!

I am 58. Got mine April this year and it failed about 2 weeks post op, very little pain, i'd say more discomfort than anything else. Had Revision done June 22, still very little pain, mainly discomfort from the swelling in the scrotum ( swelled up like a grapefruit or softball ). I've pumped it up once last night ( 1 week since surgery ) pretty much assume no sex or masturbation until incision is healed completely then take it easy sex ( nothing rough or hard pounding ) till around 6 weeks and wouldn't assume to do anything rough or hard until around the 8 to 10 week mark just to be safe.
